I don't know, Brother Cranky. What I do know is that great swathes of the country are covered with tar or bitumen or something - the stuff normal countries use to asphalt the roads. Instead of using it as God intended, they somehow extract fuel from it. However, it takes about four times as much fuel to extract the oil/gas/whatever from the tar as they are left with after the process.

Nobody knows why they do this. This shameful waste of God's good asphalt also explains the poor state of Canada's highways.

Canadians think there is oil in some of their sand. So, they ship it to the U.S.

In our country, refinery companies know sand is sand. They feel sorry for the Canadian lack of knowledge so they buy this smelly sand and everyone is happy.

That's just sound economics. Think about it like Trump staying at Mar-a-lago for 3 weekends a month. Sure, it costs the taxpayer $4m each time he visits, but he makes hundreds in buggy rentals to the secret service. So - even if the Canadians burn 80% of their oil in the extraction process, that's 20% in sweet profit. And 20% is actually a better deal than Trump gets with Mar-a-lago.

Wouldn't it be easier to just nuke Canada? Then we could take the natural resources without the inconvenience of invading Montreal and Toronto and Paris.

Wasn't part of the Louisiana Purchase in Canada? I know that Napoleon's bookkeeping was likely to have been unorthodox, even so would that guy whatever his name is the French president or prime minister or whatever they have be able to check the records? Adjoining land is often given special status is such cases so an outright sale could be an option. At least for Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Canada has recently banned assault weapons. By invading them we can show them how wrong they were to do that. If they had armed citizens they might be more of a threat. When will countries learn you need a second amendment?

There is also the need to make those weapons. When protestant Cecil Rhodes supplied weapons in Matabeleland everyone had the right to carry any weapon they could purchase. Or make – neither being much use against a machine gun, which was not for sale on that occasion.

Canada doesn't want to sell the land, resists Godliness, promotes "individual wellbeing" but how many Canadians will be excluded from The Rapture on that Glorious Day? Something not only papists would do well to consider.
