We Republicans are consistent in our policy positions. I'd like to take a moment here to explain why.

We opposed the Black Lives Matter and anti police demonstrations in our cities. We opposed liberals who wanted to eliminate police departments. We pointed out that obeying our laws, being law abiding citizens and respecting those in law enforcement is the center piece of a civilized society.

Some of us are now calling for elimination of the FBI. This is an entirely different matter than liberals calling for the elimination of police departments. We are calling for the elimination of the FBI because it invaded and searched the private home of our beloved President Trump. In doing this, the FBI leaves the impression Donald Trump might be guilty of some wrongdoing. The FBI is offending us and must be eliminated.

I hope this puts to rest any notion we Republicans are inconsistent.

The new (breathless) story bouncing around the net is that President Trump took documents from the White House because, he reasoned, they could become valuable later and sold. Commentators think this is some kind of revelation or something.

If this is why Trump took these papers to Mar a Largo what is the big deal? The papers would gather dust in government achieves forever. What does that do for the country? His thinking was, "Sell these. Make some money. Invest the money and make jobs. Help the country, don't waste these pieces of paper."

Capitalism like that practiced by our President is what made America the envy of the world.

I think the key difference here is in reasoning behind the defunding. Police are just killing drug addicts and drug dealers ( https://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/14/n...en-island.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_George_Floyd). Not a big loss for our society, in my opinion.


And perhaps occasionally people carrying toy guns ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Tamir_Rice ) Mistakes happen from time to time. Nobody's perfect. They just made the calculation that the slight chance of the person possibly having a gun, and possibly shooting them was enough to kill them immediately. "Better to be judged by 12 than carried out by 6", and we can't take a few cops and use that to judge all of them. Just a few bad apples here and there (or good, depending on your outlook).


On the other hand,


1. There was no mistake in the FBI going after our beloved President. They didn't think it was a mosque or something and barge into Trump's home by mistake. They knew exactly what they were doing.


2. No doubt the director of the FBI knew about this and okayed it. This isn't a "few bad apples" situation, this is corruption that goes straight to the top of the FBI. The whole bunch of them are Trump haters.


3. Most importantly, this is about who they were going after. What if they find something incriminating, and in doing so, harm Trump's election chances in 2024? What ethical group is okay with jeopardizing the long term safety of our nation like that? None of those people the police killed were likely Presidential candidates.

If we see any evidence out of this raid incriminates Trump no doubt it was planted by the FBI.

Also, circling back to this post, so Trump hinted that the FBI might possibly be planting evidence to incriminate him, and is now saying that the documents there, he declassified.


So, I'm having a little trouble following. Did Trump, preemptively declassify these documents knowing that the FBI would later plant them in Mar-a-Lago to incriminate him? Brilliant move on his part!


The news media is saying he didn't go through the proper channels to declassify the information, that it has to be submitted in written request. I'm pretty sure he did that written request. But I wouldn't put it past the DOJ to lie and pretending they didn't receive it, or the Trump hating election fraud enabling United States Postal service "losing" it in the mail.

Or perhaps Trump didn't go through the official de-classification channels to keep the FBI guessing, so that way they when they went to plant documents, they wouldn't know which ones were classified and which ones weren't.

It be the other way around. Maybe someone on the FBI has been informing to Trump. So my current working theory is:


Trump, prior to leaving office, somehow found out that FBI agents were going to raid Mar-a-Lago for two purposes:


1. To plant classified documents in an attempt to frame him.


2. To sniff Melanie's unmentionables.


Trump pre-emptively, and secretly declassified these documents. So Trump made fools out of the FBI by having them "discover" documents which were no longer classified.


Maybe this would be a good time to increase prices to Mar-a-Lago?
