The Illegal Immigrants Working for Trump Enterprises

I've been on the phone all day trying to straighten out this terrible story in the New York Times. The story covers an interview with a lady from Guatemala who works at one of the Presidents resorts. She came here illegally and has worked for Trump for several years. Now she is complaining because he says bad things about illegal immigrants.

This is a huge political problem. The question is, what should the President do about her?

His staff want to have her arrested and sent back to Guatemala. I'm telling them that would be a mistake. The President may have several hundred illegals working at his properties and he needs them. In addition, when she is sent home, the press will follow and talk up the hungry relatives she is sending money home to feed.

Instead of firing them, the President needs to announce that all his employees who are here illegally will be granted immediate citizenship. He could explain this by announcing that he only employees the "cream of the crop." He has no use, he could explain, for the other thugs and nare-do-wells here illegally. They need to be sent packing.

I'm still calling people.

The solution is simpler, from my POV. How could they be illegals if they are invited by the President himself?

Illegals do not enter by invitation.

Something puzzles me about this story:

“I ask myself, is it possible that this señor thinks we have papers? He knows we don’t speak English,” Ms. Morales said. “Why wouldn’t he figure it out?”

This is a woman who claims to have been in the United States for almost 20 years. How come she doesn't speak American yet? Well, she claims she doesn't! Apart from the word señor, that all looks pretty much like American to me.

There's a sulfurous whiff of Fake News here.

Where's Jesus? Thank you Jesus for rescuing me from growing taco corn in shithole Guatemala to the easy life of fluffing bed sheets for the greatest president in Godly America, and for the nice home I now live in (where there is no picture of Jesus or Donald Trump on the wall). And thank you Jesus for not having to report all those C-note tips that The Donald and other wealthy guests gave me that I didn't pay taxes on.

And finally, thank you Jesus from permitting me to criticize Trump in the New York Times, and for permitting me to be identified by ICE - where I will surely be arrested and deported back to shithole Guatemala to tend taco corn in the fields as punishment for my sins and flapping my big mouth off.

Let's not forget, not paying taxes is smart. Which is evidence she may be one of the good ones. Some of them, I assume, are good people. Why can't we all come together as a nation and let Maria keep making beds for Donald Trump's hotel guests. No American woman wants that job. Let's agree to give Rosa her $2.50/hr and dismiss the allegations of employing an illegal alien and subverting elections in WI, MI and NC and suppressing turnout in... everywhere. Can't we all just try to get along for once? Come on Democrats are you listening? Stop hating. You lost the Presidency now it's our turn.
