  • Solution to entitlement spending

I read this article yesterday about some old woman and it revealed to me a tremendous solution for reducing the trade deficit and freeing up money to fix unsightly potholes.

Woman, 81, killed herself after pension was frozen in error

An 81-year-old woman killed herself after running out of money when her pension was frozen due to an administrative error.
Joy Worrall, 81, was too proud to tell her family about her financial troubles and took her own life, as she had always threatened to do if she had major health or money worries.
At her inquest in Ruthin, north Wales, on Thursday, her son Ben Worrall said his mother had only £5 in her account on her death, having apparently spent all of her £5,000 savings after her pension was frozen.
She frittered away her life savings (£5000 - what's that, like 30-40 bucks?) on what? Frappachino and wheatgrass shots probably. Sad.

Anyway, the way I see it, all Trump has to do is turn off the faucet of government cash flowing to useless old people. Just a few weeks or couple of months ought to do it. The honorable ones, like Joy, will roll over and die eventually but we can also incentivize faster adoption with a massive cut to the inheritance tax (ridiculous that exemptions top out at $10m). Those who choose to live beyond their means - literally in this case - are not worthy of help and ought to die on the street like mutts.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

This is so true! It would reduce Democrat voters, reduce our ever-growing deficit, and probably lower crime! too! https://whyy.org/articles/breaking-p...-often-linked/

I'm not saying we should kill poor people, but if they don't have the strength of will to pull themselves up by their bootstraps maybe they're getting what they have coming to them. 2 Thessalonians 3:10
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Such a brilliant yet modest proposal!

There are many happy consequences that would emanate from such a program. It would also free up lots of money that ought to be spent bombing Arabs. Furthermore, it would bring an end to racism, because all the negroes that make the few good ones look bad would finally, FINALLY be gone. And once all that Section 8 housing gets de-corpsed and bulldozed, there would be so much more room for churches and businesses.

Jesus HATES the poor (Exodus 20:15, Proverbs 10:4, Proverbs 12:11, Proverbs 12:24, Proverbs 13:4, Proverbs 13:18, Proverbs 21:25, Proverbs 23:21, 1 Timothy 5:8, 1 Corinthians 6:10, 2 Thessalonians 3:10)!!! God made them poor, so they must've done something to piss Him off (1 Samuel 2:7). In fact, Proverbs 31:7 provides support for the poor offing themselves for the greater good.
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
      Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Great idea, Dr. Toole. If we didn't already have a wonderful Republican President I'd suggest you.

The thing is, old people have other options young people do not. A young person has a job and that takes most of their day. Old people do not. They have time to, or example, panhandle on the street. Some are ex musicians and can play music with a hat on the sidewalk for tips.

President Ronald Reagan said that if entitlements stopped today, not one person in the United States would go hungry. There are solutions to entitlement spending.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

What's the point of this? Hasn't tax already been paid when that money was earned? All of it? I will acknowledge pirates here, who probably don't pay tax, but then they probably don't save much either.

Just think of all the good that could be done with the extra tithes. Right now they're crying out for Bibles in Japan. Islam is rampant across Africa as if the nuns weren't bad enough already and how many seed Churches could be planted in Persia? I don't know if they even have Churches!

I mentioned nuns. They not only infest Africa but many European micro-nations (Liechtenstein, Monaco) and overseas territories (Bermuda, The Seychelles) too. To hear The Truth in these places is so difficult but with permanent missions properly funded so much could be achieved. The Europeans aren't going to make that sacrifice but without the double dipping of inheritance tax and a concomitant increase in tithes such ministries would be possible.

Such a crucial point, Sister. If tax has been paid on that dollar, then it should be freely available to be spent by the new owner in full. Fox example, when clients pay for my medical services, they are using after-tax dollars. They paid tax already to support the necessary infrastructure for my businesses to operate. THEY paid for the roads, courts, the legal system, physical safety, environmental safety, water, electricity, etc. Since that's ALL been paid for when I get MY money, it must a liberal con trick for them to come back and take MY money. Who benefits? George Soros. The usual people. Ridiculous.
