I read this article yesterday about some old woman and it revealed to me a tremendous solution for reducing the trade deficit and freeing up money to fix unsightly potholes.
She frittered away her life savings (£5000 - what's that, like 30-40 bucks?) on what? Frappachino and wheatgrass shots probably. Sad.
Anyway, the way I see it, all Trump has to do is turn off the faucet of government cash flowing to useless old people. Just a few weeks or couple of months ought to do it. The honorable ones, like Joy, will roll over and die eventually but we can also incentivize faster adoption with a massive cut to the inheritance tax (ridiculous that exemptions top out at $10m). Those who choose to live beyond their means - literally in this case - are not worthy of help and ought to die on the street like mutts.
Woman, 81, killed herself after pension was frozen in error
An 81-year-old woman killed herself after running out of money when her pension was frozen due to an administrative error.
Joy Worrall, 81, was too proud to tell her family about her financial troubles and took her own life, as she had always threatened to do if she had major health or money worries.
At her inquest in Ruthin, north Wales, on Thursday, her son Ben Worrall said his mother had only £5 in her account on her death, having apparently spent all of her £5,000 savings after her pension was frozen.
