Rick Wiles: True Christian or Fluffy Bunny?

My dearest Brothers in Christ, I admit to being conflicted. There was an article about Rick Wiles that quotes him as saying that Christian Values are going to be imposed on America whether it likes it or not.

You can imagine the chills that ran down my spine upon reading those words. Alas, Mr. Wiles was also quoted saying things that seem critical of the Old Testament, which I have always been taught to be God's Holy Word, and thus something that we don't mess around with, ever.


Is Mr. Wiles trying to institute some hippy-dippy Jesus love fest in our country? Are we going to ignore the Old Testament and make over America into some socialist nightmare where we have to feed the poor and give all that we have like that old woman in the Gospels of Mark and Luke but not Matthew or John?


I am so confused! People who tend to dismiss the Old Testament and only cite the New Testament have a very skewed idea about God in my opinion.

I think you are correct to question this fellow, Sister Handmaiden.

Let's remember the Bible, Old Testament and New, are God's words. Every one of them. The Old Testament gives us rules to follow, what to eat, what to wear and so on. And then it explains the consequences of sin. We learn God downed all the sinners. God would be angry if we just ignored what he took the trouble to write.

This fellow worries Jews have too much power. The fact is, they have no power over us because they killed Jesus. All we have to done is point this out.

A better way to handle Jews is this. Every time a Jew tries to charge you too much, just shout, "You killed Jesus. Do you want to go to jail?"

This works for me.
