  • Mr. President, Don't Go Too Far With This Religious Freedom Thing

    I've passed along my concerns to President Trump's people about his upcoming address to the United Nations. The address has been labeled "historic" by his staff. He will discuss his thoughts on religious freedom.

    I'm worried he might press the issue of religious freedom too far. Let's remember, Ivanka and Jerrad are Jews. They might be lobbying for giving Jews freedom to give prayers in schools and at public meetings. Jews see everything as a business deal, give a dime and then take a dollar.

    And then there are the atheists. Atheists are murdered by governments in countries around the world. They make a choice not to believe in God and this is the consequence. I don't want the President sticking up for atheists. They can fix their problem themselves.

    As long as he sticks to freedom for Bible believing Protestants like we here at Landover Baptist the address makes sense. But I remain concerned.

    The White House announced that President Donald Trump will give a speech on religious freedom next Monday at the United Nations headquarters in New York City and will host a special event to be ...
    Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

    Mr. Mayor, I am concerned about the President. Numerous reports say that he sounds like he's reading from a teleprompter in slow monotone like he has been drugged. Why else would he say hateful, anti-freedom things such as this:
    “My administration is working with other nations to stop criminalizing of homosexuality. And we stand in solidarity with LGBTQ people who live in countries that punish jail or execute individuals based upon sexual orientation.”
    If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

      That can't be right. Some SJW terrorist must have hacked into his teleprompter and messed with his prepared statements. I'm pretty sure he meant to say:

      “My administration is working with other nations to ... criminaliz[e] ... homosexuality. And we stand in solidarity with ... countries that punish jail or execute individuals based upon sexual orientation.”
      There. Much better.
      I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
      Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
      But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
      From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!
