    $1.5 trillion

Trump promised $1.5 trillion in infrastructure spending

Still waiting on that one but don't worry the money is not burning a hole in his pocket.

No need to cancel the yacht parade after all.

    Re: $1.5 trillion

Thank you, Brother Dr. Toole, Sir , for reminding us of this.

When it comes to infrastructure spending, is there anything more important than ensuring the health of the US financial markets? And I'm not just talking about important to America - I'm thinking of the entire world, as is our dear President. It is so very reassuring to be governed by a gentleman who looks at the whole picture.

    God Bless President Trump!

What's it called when interest rates are held at close to 0% for 12 years so companies (run by job creators) borrow heavily to buy their own shares and gives massive bonuses to... uh job creators... based on the share price?

What's it called when there's a "market correction" and the interest rate is already 0% so the government actively buys into the market, propping up the price, to give job creators more time to exit?

It's a beautiful thing. Risk takers and leaders deserve their profits. I do hope none of you have 401k's or will rely on pension or social security. Dirty business, they should dump it all in the market right now.

Let's pray Trump's assistance is for JPMorgan, Bank of America, IBM and other huge conservative corporations. They are the real Americans and need to he helped.

Forget the Ma and Pa cafes and what nots. Big issues call for big solutions.

Surely Trump will not forget to help Hobby Lobby.

I hope you gentlemen will forgive me for mentioning another country here, but I do so only to point out how America gets it right when other countries get it so very, very wrong.

The President of France, Monsieur "Magoo" Macaroon, has announced something or other - I think basically France has been shut down, or "fermée pour nettoyage" as they say in their barbaric tongue. But I do know that he has said that no business, regardless of size, will be allowed to fail.

France is already morally bankrupt, of course, and so this is the logical progression. But my husband is mildly irritated, as this folly has come without warning. Had Matthew known that Monsignor Macaron was quite such a gullible fool, he would have set up an under-capitalized, doomed-to-fail business in France days ago.

What happens when the non-essential workers get sent home - and the only people to show up for work are essential workers? Do you think it would ever occur to them... uhhh what do those guys even do? We're the ones with the needed skills - by definition - and we're the ones who show up to keep the whole thing running. What say we do a little corporate downsizing...

Boy I'd sure hate to be the non-essential senior exec when the essentials show up at my front door with a pink slip. Fortunately I earned my money the old way and live off the dividends - my contribution to the team effort.
