I would like to know why when we see a picture of China, forever it seems, so many people are walking around with masks? Don't say it's to conceal their identity for some reason because when we see Chinese tourists (such as near a gourmet chocolate & ice-cream emporium) they persist with the masks. As though it's a normal state of affairs to wear one. Is that due to perpetual plague in China?
