Republicans across the nation are burning their absentee ballots to show that we won't participate in a system that lets latinos select our President and other elected officials. Please join us!

Note that this does not apply in the case of men, who should still submit absentee ballots for their wives and voting-age daughters to be sure they don't vote for Democrats or new taxes for schools on the sly.

The way I see it, all people who do mail-in voting effectively belong to a single constituency. Their votes should be gerrymandered together and separated from real American votes. The Supreme Court has said this is allowed.

I question if they are really republicans. No self respecting republican would request an absentee ballot in the first place. Faux republicans playing the part by George Soros paid actors to cover up Hillary Clinton’s underground pedophile pizza ring. 👎

Mr. Rutherford, I know you people are not great at reading comprehension, but the linked newspaper article clearly says:

Karl Manke, an Owosso, Mich., barber who defied coronavirus related stay-home orders and reopened his shop early last month, will light the bonfire. People attending the event are encouraged to bring “unsolicited, absentee ballot applications to be incinerated, under protest”

A flyer for the event reads: “Together we will gather and burn all of the taxpayer funded applications, illegally sent to us from SOS Benson.” In 2018, Michigan voters approved a measure allowing for no-reason absentee voting.

Just to clarify for your understanding: "under protest" is a term commonly used to refer to a payment made subject to a dispute. The payor typically makes the payment with notice to the payee that the payment is being made under protest, thereby reserving the right to object to the obligation later. So you see, incinerating ballots under protest.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. That alone is indisputable proof that the electoral college, gerrymandering, randomly striking large numbers of blacks off the voter rolls because some of them are probably felons, banning absentee ballots, closing down as many polling places as possible, requiring multiple forms of identification to be presented to election officials, and generally making it as difficult as possible for poor people, racial minorities, and college students to vote are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to ensure a fair and functioning democracy.
