Ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters,
As we all know, Sarah Palin is poised to make history as the world's first female Vice President, barring any unpleasant surprises from the Democrats. What most people know are her political strong-points, of which there are many. She has a political history that stretches back nearly a decade, a feat accomplished by few other political figures. She has a sterling voting record and a beautiful family. She is what every True Christian woman should strive to be: #2 to a man in the highest position of power next to running his household.
I am recommending that we follow her as a role-model. She is a woman of great strengths, and I think that it would be commendable for us to emulate her. What I am speaking of, specifically, is her brilliant idea of turning the volume off on her TV when she watches television. Nearly 95% of the dirty messages on TV are transmitted via "words" and "speech", so if we just set the TV to "mute", we can avoid nearly all verbally transmitted diseases such as atheism and "free thought". I suggest that every single one of us turn our volumes to mute on every single TV program we watch and absorb as much as possible via visual cues. After all, that is the True Christian(tm) way to do things. We are already doing it in real life: when some "scientist" tries to tell you the so-called "facts" about evolution, we tune them out. When someone blabbers on about some inconvenient passage in the Bible about "giving to the poor", it is far easier to shout them down with "BUT JESUS SAID THE POOR WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US" than it is to actually try to listen to them and be forced into a corner where Christian Logic(tm) becomes necessary to escape. I say it is time for us Christians to stand up and stop listening. It's the Christian way!
