      I suppose there were those who laughed at Caitlyn's candidacy. I have been telling people she is the Republican candidate of the future.

      She is now ahead in the California recall primary. That says a lot.

      I should mention this is not according to polling but is what she herself says about her campaign. Polls show her not doing so well. Last I heard she was on her way to CPAC to pick up some more big checks. We need to watch her candidacy for signals of what the public is thinking.

        I saw an article somewhere on the interwebs where it claimed that Bruce (I cannot make myself call him Caitlyn) made a speech that was not up to much. Judging by the attached photo, I am not surprised. Is this really what our dear Republican brothers and sisters want? I mean, doesn't he look rather scary here? If this were a photo of him getting ready for a oween party, then I would understand. But, this, I'm just not so sure.

              Oh, I know, very well, that I should not worry so; but, I just can't help it. If this trend of men wearing bad wigs continues throughout the righteous Republican Party, why, I shudder to think of how such a bad influence could affect other, decent, law-abiding, ly people!

                Is there no end to Ms Jenner's energy? How will Caitlyn find the time for this, what with all the modeling and competing in the womxn's heptathlon in Tokyo next month? One can only hope and pray that in the meantime, the extreme Hell-sent heat in California does not cause anything to melt.

                  Well, I am sure that I do not have the answer to your question, dear Sister Joanna; although, it is a very interesting one. I just cannot imagine Bruce -- at his age -- running in the games at Tokyo. He can barely walk properly in high heels, let alone run in them.

                  I mean, this is not 1976, and he's not exactly in the same shape as he was back then. But, I do suppose that anything is possible. It remains to be seen how he will do when competing with the others in this category, as they're all scrambling toward the Finish line.

                            I read somewhere recently that Caitlyn Jenner was "dead-named". That confuses me. I know what dead-heading a rosebush is. One removes the spent blossoms to encourage the new buds to bloom and to keep the whole plant looking spiffy. How does this relate to people?

                                That is being brought up because her opponents recognize the brilliant strategy she is using. Being "dead-named" is using the name one had before the gender transition took place. I pointed out earlier in this thread that Caitlyn is dropping reminders she could still be considered the macho win at any cost athlete named Bruce Jenner. She is going after the Trump voters.

                                I'll be the first to admit Caitlyn is not your typical Republican. But these are not typical times.
