There are far too many divorces and broken homes today. Women are too quick to turn and run after the first few signs of abuse. I hope this man is in the Senate next year.

This Vance fellow has a point. When a wife is beaten, there is this liberal default view the husband is wrong. Is this ALWAYS true? Wouldn't it be better to see if some improvements could be made that would please instead of anger the husband.

A smart government will look into this and see if more marriages can be saved. Some marriages take effort.

I agree. No matter how outrageous a wife's conduct is, a man should forgive her after he administers her beating. The key is making sure that the beating is severe enough that she won't dare to commit that sin ever again. Remember, Jesus is all about love and forgiveness!
