Is Obama's package bigger than Bush's?

I find all the politics things and economic doowhatzits confusing (math is hard), and I don't want to bother my husband - Mr. Whitford - with silly female questions when he has other things to think about than a president's package.
Now I know Barack Hussein Obama (whom we support 100%) has been working hard on his stimulus package but seems to have trouble with getting people to embrace it, but President Bush had no problem getting his package into Congress and the Senate.
I don't know the numbers, they can be scary, but I am curious which president's package is bigger. Anyone?

President Bush had to fly to Canada to get a speaking engagement. I'm pretty sure the Canuckistanis are 'small package' people or they'd be able to attract better women.

Sister, I Googled the question, and this weeks-old piece is pretty representative of what I found:

At a press conference in Washington today, President-elect Barack Obama repeatedly refused to answer questions about the size of his package, calling the subject “a personal matter.”

Again and again, reporters attempted to get Mr. Obama to tell them exactly how big his package was, but the president-elect was steadfast in his refusal to quantify it.

“If I tell you the size of my package, some of you will think that it sounds too small, “ he said. “And others will be uncomfortable with how big it is.”

The president-elect seemed to indicate, however, that the size of his package may vary according to the circumstances.

“Depending on what is going on, my package could grow significantly larger,” he said. “It all comes down to the amount of stimulus.”

The president-elect apologized for his vagueness about his package, telling reporters, “I know you’re having a hard time getting your arms around it.”

Mr. Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, later indicated that the president-elect does plan on unveiling his package for the American people, probably at his inauguration.

“This will give the American people an opportunity to finally grasp his package,” Mr. Emanuel said.

HERE is a link that explains (in basic english for those of the weaker sex) how each and every one of us (praise Jesus) can benefit from the size of Obama's package.

I must admit, just pondering the very size of that thing is kinda scarey to me.

Obama's package is bigger, but Bush had a better grasp of what to do with his package.
