Rev. Dr. Davidson has brought up an important question: Why do so many Americans hate America so much that they have to dilute being American with some hypenated appelation?

African-American
Atheist-American
Asian-American
Baby-Eating-Wicker-American
and the like?

It's all very confusing. I knew an American who was born in Jamaica, who was dark as night. She was horrifically offended if some liebral white person called her "African-American", since she'd never set foot in Africa, and she considered herself simply American.

What's the deal with this? Can anyone explain it? Is being American simply not good enough for these hyphenated people?

What I don't get is how you get people running around being called African-American, Asian-American, Wetback-American and so on, but no-one ever uses the term "Papist-American." I mean, if we must tolerate the Godly USA being defiled by the presence of blasphemers who serve the totalitarian Antichrist pervert in the Vatican over and above the great Christian war leader who was democratically elected by the great majority of the American people on at least on occasion, we should at least have some warning of who these potential enemy combatants are. Is that really so unreasonable?

Fisrt, I have to say that either you're an American or you're not. I an an American. Not a French American, English American, but just a red blooded "American".

This politically correct crap of calling Nigras 'African Americans', Spics 'Latino Americans or Mexican Americans', and many others, makes me sick. Make up your damned mind! If you want to be called other than an American, I suggest that you go back to the country you put before America. I was born here, I was raised here, and I will probably die here. I don't care what country my ancestors came from. I've traced some of my geneology back to the Revolutionary war, and others back to Sam and Belle Starr. I had a few yankee ancestors, but most were honest to goodness southners. Above it all I am an American, and I'm damned proud to call myself that.

If Sam Houston, Jim Bowie, John Wayne, or the Marlboro man were alive today, they'd be appaled. As it stands, I feel they're rolling over in their graves.

In conclusion, if you want to be called an African, Latino, Mexican, Jewish, French or whatever American, get the hell out of my country!!

If any word should preface "American", it should be "Godly", and I am a proud Godly American!
That being said, there are times where it does come in useful to have hyphenations, like having it listed on a job application. Not every Nigra or Nigress is named "Tyrone Leroy Jackson" or "Lacquisha Mahalia Washington". Could you imagine the embarrassment of calling a "Mr. James Michael Smith" in for a job interview, and a tall, dark, muscular buck comes walking through the door? Why, think of the time wasted having to call for security alone! A little forewarning is nice.

In no place does the Bible reference "fire-breathing dragons" or "Chinese dragons", just "dragons". Dragons = dinosaurs.

Of course, you don't believe in God's Word, so it's hard for you to give the Creator any credibility.
