Sometimes the best news in the country comes out of Colorado Springs, which is the home to Focus On The Family, Purity Balls and dozens of other fair-haired and blue-eyed Christian businesses.

In today's news we learned that the Springs' State Senator -- Dave Schultheis, who's a Republican, Praise God -- had this to say about the babies born to AIDS-infected mothers:

What I'm hoping is that, yes, that person may have AIDS, have it seriously as a baby and when they grow up, but the mother will begin to feel guilt as a result of that.

Isn't that Godly? Sen. Schultheis wants the babies to get AIDS in order to teach their slutty mothers that the wages of sin are severe and uncompromising. Because -- let's face it -- the damn woman wouldn't have AIDS if she wasn't sinning, so she deserves whatever befalls her -- and if that includes staring helplessly into the aching eyes of her disease-ridden child, then so be it.

Sometimes it takes a Christian to put it all in perspective.

Amen brother!! And I'll just add one more important point here. You see how all these false Christians are always urging everyone to pray for these sluts and their babies with the AIDS? Well God says NO! God says STOP IT!

Just as He told Jeremiah not to pray for those whom He has chosen for suffering and death, so we True Christians(tm) must withhold our prayers for those whom God has singled out for torment today. God has decided to punish these people, and He doesn't want to be talked out of it! Shout GLORY!!

It's good to see that there are still politicians who believe in compassionate conservatism and Christian love.
