    Republican Party changing its name? LET'S HELP THEM!

    Brothers and Sistern, the word is out -- Our Godly Republican Party is changing its name.

    It's out with the GOP, and in with the "Reagan Party"? That's only one suggestion.

    Quick, before we go any further, get the background you need about this Earth-shaking news here.

    Now, let's help out our fellow Republicans.

    My suggestions?

    * the Reagan Party has an awful purty ring to it!
    * Whigs isn't bad either -- And it's got an enviable historical resonance
    * how about the Mission Accomplished Party -- No patriot can resist it.
    * or the National Capitalist American Investment-Income Party -- Cool, huh

    But enough about me. What do you think the Republican Party should change its name to?

      I would prefer Nixon Party, myself. I always thought Nixon was unjustly slandered in the media. When you are that powerful and that great, you will attract your fair share of enemies. An excellent presidency ruined by trumped-up bogus conspiracy charges.

              Nixon was one of those "liberal" republicans, along with Rockefeller (there was a term "Rockefeller Republican" to refer to those who were more "moderate"). Frankly, I think the whole damn party out to call itself the RINO party after their performance in the last election cycle.

                How about the Pirate Party, or the FSM Party? The Noodly One will soon let his Noodly Appendage be felt to all politicians so they can correct their ways!!

                I am affraid however that lawyers and accountants are beyond redemption!

                  Or why not split it into people who are actually interested in laissez-faire economics (the Rand Party) and the people who want Jesusnomics (the Landover Party or the True Christian(tm) Party)?

                    I nominate the McCarthy Party, in honor of Mr. Joseph McCarthy.

                    Or, perhaps the Capitalist Party?

                    Maybe even the Christian Freedom Party!

                      Obviously if the Republican party wants to become popular again they are going to have to name themselves after the most popular things in the world. After a brief Google statistics search I believe that, based on how often these words and phrases are searched, the most successful name would be The Chris Brown Lose 20 Pounds Fast Shamwow Socialism Asian Lesbian Midget Porn Party.

                            Actually a good name would be: The Racist, Hegemonic, Dogmatic, Oppressive, Cruel, Fascist, Neo-Nazi, Psychotic, Evil, Demonic, Destructive, Negative, White Christian Male Party. It is quite accurate, after all.
