  • Discrimination based on gender, sex, race, and RELIGION!? HELLO!????

Here in the United States, as well as in Canada, there is a legal responsibility not to discriminate based on gender, sex, race, and religion. I think we all know that the last one is the most abused right in history. Christianity has been attacked for its position on gender, sex, race - and religion too - in direct contradiction of supposedly secular society's laws. It's reaching the point where you can't berate sinners in plain view any longer - the oppression is intolerable. The law DEMANDS that we be free to exercise religious freedom. That means castrating homosexuals, gender benders, trannies, cross dressers, librarians, and frankly anyone that looks a bit queer.

We have been more than tolerant but asking us to bend Jesus' firm principles is asking too much. It's not a democratic decision, it's God's Plan.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Great observations, Dr. Toole, and timely too. Today is July 4th, a day celebrated in every country in the world. People from the Bedouin goat herders to the high-rise financial districts know this this is the day Jesus' favorite country was freed from the murderous King of England.

For reasons I don't understand, many think Freedom of Religion applies to false religions. That is not the case. Jesus need not bend. He knows, we all know, the Jews killed Jesus. Freedom from Religion does not mean Jews can lie about that. The record of what happened is right there in the Bible. The whole title should be redone to "Freedom of Good, Honest and True Religion."

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Of course I don't regard myself as a communist (or even a lily-livered socialist) yet even so accept that anyone may choose to repudiate (or embrace) any doctrine they find anywhere, recorded as histories or fantasies or in these Last Days even as LARP game sources, for example the brony cult utterly divorced from reality. Nobody has to accept The Bible – equally then, there's no reason to dismiss what its pages record.

Matthew 27:24-26 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Do you believe this actually happened? Or is someone setting up a future LARP field with paintball accessories? You decide. Nobody can lie about Jesus but then neither can they lie about what our only record of His life has to say on many topics. For those who reject it as fantasy, perhaps an amalgamation of preexisting ideas for some reason lost to us over 2 or 3 millennia, even as a nefarious scheme to hamstring America, sure: you can think that! But if you do, if you disagree with Matthew 27, if you DON'T think that's what took place, what are you doing to reposition your nation as one based on reality?

For all Christians, reality is Jesus. Everything flows from that.
