This means half-mast during to proudest moment in the history of the United States, the Inauguration of President Trump. At this moment in our history Old Glory should be flying proud and high. It took three and a half months, but as I said in the lead post--God is not mocked. It's also a valuable lesson to those who come here to mock Landover Baptist; God hears our prayers.

Anyway, I know that this post should probably go in the President Donald Trump appreciation thread, but I have to ask others to join me in prayer that Jimmy Carter will come to Jesus before he dies and goes to Hell. Lord, let this man see the light that is Trump's leadership.

I would dearly love to see Mr. Carter admit he has wasted a lifetime of worship believing in a false sect of Christianity (which after all is rife with wacky spinoffs). There's still time. He could quickly donate his estate to charity - the Trump Foundation is a particularly apt choice for lovers of art and golf tournaments. The tax exemption on charitable donations really helps with charity events - art shows, golfing tournaments, etc.

There is just something peculiar about the guy. Other Presidents become REALLY wealthy after office. He just stayed there in Plains. It's a disgrace a former President of this great country lives like that.

What a waste of space! This punk president didn't even invite Trump to headline his birthday video! What really unknots my pearls, however, is how everyone keeps going on and on --and ON-- about what a great "Christian" he is. Excuse me?! Did Jimmy Carter end abortion in this country? Okay, neither has Trump. . . yet. But Trump has made so that women are at least paying the price for their immorality, sometimes with their lives. That's what we need in a Christian President.

Then there is Trump's work in making homosexuality shameful again. Really, he has done so much more to earn the appellation, "Christian" than that washed up peanut farmer. Was Jimmy Carter ever photographed holding a Bible? Who knows? But he was caught on camera running scared from a rabbit. You know perfectly well that Donald Trump would stand up to a rabbit, just like he stood up to Joe Biden and his would-be assassin.

Droolin' Jimmy is what I call him. The only thing they keep him alive for is to make Sleepy Joe look young and sprightly. If it wasn't for that they would have sent him to the Clinton Death Panels long ago. That's another reason to expect an "unfortunate accident" before the election - he's just not needed any more.
