Let's Help Save Greg Locke's Church

Pastor Greg Locke started a tent church a few years back in Tennessee. He preached the same unvarnished Gospel we hear every Sunday at Landover Baptist. It's almost like he studied us and knew a church like ours was needed there. His church grew to 3,000 members and he acquired a fine permanent building.

Greg was giving a truthful and powerful sermon recently and said Democrats are Demon infested baby killers. For some reason this was considered controversial. It went all over the country. His attendance has dropped to a few hundred and he is moving to a smaller building. He needs help with the move and I hope many can pitch in.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

“The anxiety of managing the appearance of greatness is gone. The performance is over. What is left is a remnant that actually wants Jesus more than they want a production. A people who will stay when the lights are dim, and the only thing left is the Word and the Spirit.”

    Amen, Brother Locke.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

calls for an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) investigation into whether Locke had violated the federal Johnson Amendment and thus could lose his church’s tax-exempt status. For a time, Global Vision gathered under a large tent
I thought would now be a good time for us to pay tax? We could start off with a fifth of what comes in, on the books, and phase in a wealth tax over the next year for Zeke et al.

Book sales, Chick Tracts and so on, could be done on a month by month basis and a land tax for the rest would help us chip in for the good stuff, since rich folk seem a bit shy on this and we don't use a tent. There's work to be done right now and in years to come.

      Just a thought.
