Shall We Warn Sinners Jesus Will Return

We True Christians^TM here believe that Trump is so popular he will bring home Republicans in the midterm elections coming right up. What if we are wrong? Polls are showing we Republicans will lose the House and Senate.

Jesus will not tolerate this. He will come down and take over. There can be doubt.

Of course, we at Landover Baptist have nothing to fear in His return. It will be a joyous event. My question is this: What obligation do we have to warn sinners they are in deep trouble? Do we say nothing and let them burn?

My inclination is the latter.

Of course, we at Landover Baptist have nothing to fear in His return. It will be a joyous event. My question is this: What obligation do we have to warn sinners they are in deep trouble?

When Jesus was asked about this, He was clear that His disciples should tell their own kind The Good News. To do that, what the news was needed to be mentioned, it goes without saying. He went into more detail concerning the categories to focus on:

• The Sick
• Lepers
• The Dead
• Those Possessed by Devils

You know, I can tell day from night: no divine inspiration needed. But left to my own devices, would I come up with those four top priorities when announcing The Kingdom of Heaven? No: here divine inspiration is needed. Jesus conveyed it like this:

Matthew 10:7-8 As ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Certain types, as we know, will mock and jeer. And because they hate us, we'll be persecuted. Satan's last gasp before the end. Jesus was calm, yes, He knew that would happen but reminded the disciples all they had to do was to move on calmly.

Matthew 10:22-23 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

They were preaching to their own kind. We have our own cities too, where certain types mock and jeer. They hate us. They probably hate each other too, following their master as they do. Beelzebub will be in the pit with them when eternity begins – but in the meantime, we have our cities to address and electronics to expedite the mission, revealed through divine inspiration, in Christ Jesus. Would it be fair to adopt the same priorities, addressing demon-possessed heretics with a projection (onto a building, say) of The Lake of Fire? Christians being immune can mix it with leprotic and otherwise diseased persons, so they'll hear the glad tidings. Access to the deceased could be troublesome, what with draconian regulation of morgues – not unexpected given His words, right there in The Bible.

Matthew 10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

It should be possible to both say nothing and make His message known, covering the remaining cities in our world in time for His return. Using visual aids, such as large scale projections, non-intrusive "ads" on assorted media (impossible to skip if done right) and a range of other methods for maximum coverage in the limited time remaining.

It really is very exciting.
