"Sarah Palin has resigned as governor of Alaska after half a term. Do you think she will make a good president in 2012?

I think many people have forgotten who Palin would be running against for President. Palin is a veteran politician compared to Obama. I don't think with all her accomplishments that too many non-leftist people will call her a "quitter". She may also be trying to kick out Alaska's US Senator Lisa Murkowski or Alaska's US Reperesentative Don Young. She's getting the nomination. I don't think anyone else in the GOP will want to run against the urine-colored messiah because they will constantly be defending themselves against allegations of racism by lapdogs like Katie Couric and Brian Williams. Sarah is a refreshing breath of clean air. She spoke from heart. I saw no teleprompter in front of her with a speech on it written by someone else saying "the right words" Sarah to me is an honest person and she proved it today. Blow up that glass ceiling Sarah. It doesn't surprise me that much.. most women I see are flaky when it comes to careers. Most women I know switch jobs every couple years. It always starts building up as stress and personal relationship problems in one job, then they switch to a different company or sometimes a whole new career.

There are a few democratic women who I consider men-women, like Hillary who have the male like obssession with their career and ideas they believe in.. but its rare. Most women their priorities and thoughts are with their family and personal relationships. Which imo is how nature designed it to be.

Being the mom of 5 children and running a whole state had to lead to burnout even for a person with such incredible natural energy as her. Give her a vacation and she'll be ready to lead in 2012. -JustNukeEm

This is the difference between men and women. Women quit too easily.This is the main reason why you so rarely see a good-looking woman in a difficult profession. I am a member of Mensa International and we had a recent meeting which required we study the liberal medea over a three week period and comment on just exactly what we thought. We all agreed your show was quite intertaining. However, the main question was; how can a man with the brain power of a knat and the persistence of a common housefly function on a seemingly higher level. We all concluded that the libmedea have a strong almost school girl crush on Obama and when they are on there knees sucking that hard that the high volume of air rushing to there pea like brain causes a temporary increase in intellence, allowing them to function on a higher plane for short periods of time. Well, Jeb, I hate to disagree with the many people who wrote in to Landover to answer, but . . . I watched her speech.

Sarah did absolutely the right thing for her family. She asked her five children whether she should stay in office, or not. She was upset about her deformed son being made fun of, and wanted to protect him.

These are great things for a mother to do.

They are NOT great things for a political leader to do.

She laid a very important decision about state business at the feet of three children, a whore, and a drooling retard. What would her Presidency be like?

It's clear that Sarah Palin isn't ready for prime time, and I seriously doubt she ever will be.

This makes sense in a way:

When Ronald Reagan explained that "government can’t solve the problem, government is the problem," he was not expressing some kind of "the state, my enemy" philosophy, he was just explaining that the solutions to our problems will not come, cannot come, from the government...

This is a crucial "learning moment" for the D.C. Republicans.

If her resignation gives the Republican establishment pause to think about their attitude toward those who are "just being a private citizen," then Sarah Palin may have already begun a revolution in politics of enormous proportions.

After all, an anti-government activist deciding to work for the government makes as much sense as an anti-sealclubbing activist clubbing seals for a living.

It seems Sarah Palin is already leading by example. Just look at how many people followered her lead by resigning from their position as tea-partiers:

What they lacked in size was made up for with passion ...

I have to agree, Jenny, with your reasoning. (Course, I am an old women - so my opinion is probably not too worthwhile.) However, my take is they are all crooks. I just do not trust anyone who has a lengthy political career - they are all corrupt. No if's, and's, or's, or but's about it! Power eventually corrupts.

Have We Lost Our Minds?

This debacle with Sarah just goes to show that a women cannot and should not be president. While I love sister Sarah there men who share her True Christian beliefs who have the stability required to run the world. I knew this Sarah hysteria would end badly. Women are unstable.

True Christians love Dick more than they love Rush. Just imagine how good it would be if we had co presidents Cheney and Limbaugh. Now think about Sister Ann and Sister Sarah in the White House. Even TC women can be catty. If they both have their time of the month at the same time God only knows what they would do.

Well, we all know why 9/11 happened, and why we have a negro president, don't we? It's because God is punishing us for legalized abortion and gay marriage.

So, it should come as no surprise that our leader, Sarah Palin, has been struck down too. God gave her a warning by sending her a retard baby, but Sarah tried to cover it up by pretending to be its grandmother rather than its mother. God will not be mocked!

Look at the failed marriages of once-great Republican politicians - Sanford, Ensign, Gingrich (twice), McCain (though the Lord eventually rewarded him with a wealthy hottie). And then Mark Foley offended Jesus by buggering page boys. Senator David Vitter went off the rails too, but thankfully he found Jesus, and now no longer dresses up in adult diapers while being flagellated by hookers.

The only hope for Sister Sarah is to join our church and tithe generously. Otherwise, next time she might give birth to a negro resembling Michael Jackson.
