I see these guns as symbols of a proud and noble tradition, an emblem of happier days when you and your buddies could shoot each other to your heart's content, and you'd all be fine at the end of the day, thanks to The Finest Healthcare System in the World (combined with a healthy dose of prayer, of course). One thing's for sure, I'd rather be shot ten times in the face by a healthy Christian patriot with an assault rifle than have a Mexican sneeze on me and then subsequently be executed by a Socialist Death Panel. And at the end of the day, isn't that what freedom's really all about?

Liberals are such hypocrites about this issue. They see use rallying with our guns and they say "Oh no, religious fanatics engaging in intimidation tactics! This is right next to terrorism!"

But then they see Hezbolla and Hamas and every other Muslim group rallying with guns and kids and shooting in the air and their silence is deafening.

This has got me thinking, is it legal to shoot in the air? When you're outside the town hall, I mean.

I can't imagine why not. The Second Amendment comes right after the First Amendment, and nothing says "Free Speech" like shooting a gun in the air at a public gathering.

It would a First and Second Amendment issue. A good rat a tat tat from a full auto killing machine is speech. It says, "Don't mess with me you commie liebrul lesbean homersexual wiccan, pinko, Mudslime lefty."
