I sure hope I don't upset anyone, but I can't believe that nobody has chosen Jesus to get the Nobel Peace Prize. My second choice would be a group award to HIS favorite church (LBC of course!).

Bless your little female heart Mother G, but those of us in the know about these things (i.e., Men) know that you have to be alive and here on Earth in order to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The joos that run Switzerland refuse to recognize that Christ is alive!

Beyond that, I don't think that our Lord and Savior would be too keen on the idea anyway. Peace wasn't his strong suit if you recall...

Honestly, anyone is more deserving than Obama-mama! Anyone on the nominee list (bar Michael Jackson, off course) would have been more deserving. I think the committee must have lost their marbles.

Even Angelina Jolie is more deserving. I mean, she did make peace with her dad, Jon Voight, and considering the size of her family, has brought peace to more people than Obama-crama!

If you're going to award the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama you might as well give one to Hitler as well-- the two are basically the same person.

Frankly I just don't believe Obama has accomplished enough to deserve this award. Guantanamo is still open, we're still involved in two wars and millions of Americans are still uninsured. What is it exactly that Obama has done these last 10 months in office? Most concerning, however, is the fact that while Obama hasn't accomplished any of the things that he claimed he would when campaigning, he also hasn't accomplished anything that us deranged right wing lunatics were afraid he was going to. White people are still not in internment camps, known pedophiles are not teaching our children via homosexual pornography in mandatory public schools, registered Republicans are not being spied on and wire tapped, an impact event hasn't covered the earth in a thick layer of soot making it impossible to grow food and reducing humanity to wandering scavengers looking for the last cans of food on the earth and roving gangs of cannibals that hunt the scavengers. None of this has happened yet. If Obama doesn't hurry up and get off his butt he's going to make a lot of Republicans that defaced portraits of the president by adding Hitler mustaches look like stupid people.

Although he is, sadly, now dead, I think that General Jack D Ripper deserves the award posthumously. He did so much to destroy communism (launching a sneak attack on the Russkies) - surely that deserves a peace prize!
