    By violation of copyright laws.

If a God-fearing Christian wanted to watch MLP (just exactly why, we won't get into here), he'd get himself a job and subscribe to the network package offered by his cable or satellite provider that includes the channel that MLP is broadcast on in his/her local area.

Never mind the ridiculousness of being forced to pay for thousands of hours of other programming that you'd never even think of watching being tacked onto that package for no other reason because the bean counters have determined that their customers are such meek little sheep that they'll take tranche "B" (for example) because it has the one show that they want to watch, buried as it might be, like the MotoGP broadcasts on TSN (so conveniently scheduled at 4:45AM on Tuesday) that Cogeco was nice enough to only offer in a package that also included 12 cooking channels, 14 home shopping outlets, and the Wetaskiwin-Penetanguishene local high school football channel.

Why? Because it's the law (and multinational conglomerates can afford more lawyers than you, so what they say is the law is actually the law), and Christians are commanded by God to obey the law.

    So you're not a Christian.

Why do you enjoy injecting marijuana in your furry butt?

so let me get this straight your saying that the fact that jews could keep each other as slaves justifies racial slavery, even though that demonstrates slavery knew no gender or race, hebrews, the chosen people of God, were just as likely to become slaves as a pagan. which means if your interpretation is right and God does condone slavery along racial lines, we're all meant to be slaves. which in reality we are, but to Christ not each other. also the spell checker needs an update it just redlined me for typing in the word christ.

Ah, so you are capable of reading! You posted this while I was praying (as I always do before I click Submit Reply), so I didn't see this before my last reply.

Did you see the thread title and feel your liberal anger so enraged that you came storming in to post without looking to see if any of your nonsense has already been rebutted?

You're changing the subject. A trick I am going to ignore.

Just look at your own flawed logic for a second. If the Bible tells us to sell slaves, how can it not condone buying slaves? How can you sell something if no one is buying it?

According to your flawed logic allowing sales of cocaine would be fine since promoting the sales of cocaine has nothing to do whatsoever with people buying it.

Let me see if I understand.

You're suggesting the Holy Bible doesn't condone slavery even though it condones the "proper" application of slavery?

    How does that work, dear?

You've never actually read the Holy Bible, have you?

    Spoilers: Race counts.

More spoiliers: Nobody has any rights except what the gives them (Romans 9:20-23). Some have the right to personal freedom. Some don't. And it's okay, because in the end, everyone has the option to freely choose to accept the conditional saving grace of , or burn forever (Revelation 20:15).
