dude don't the bible may not ever explicitly ban slavery but it never condones it either, in fact it's only statement on slavery is a code of conduct for the slave, a code of conduct for the master, a bill or rights for the slave, and stating that all slaves that choose to be must be freed every 7 years and every 50th year

And how long would it be until the US imploded. There would be MASSIVE protests, violent resistant groups. Many agnostics will decide that god doesn't exist because no kind and merciful God would allow slavery.
The US only produces a third of it's oil at home. No country would trade with the US until they had got rid of slavery again, they'd be kicked out of the UN and have sanctions imposed. There would be considerable violence to americans overseas. Islamic terrorist groups would use it as propaganda and easily double or even triple their numbers. Millions would flee the country. Huge numbers would fight back against anyone who tried to enslave them our their families. Americans would no longer be able to buy products produced by other countries. Many countries would begin to hate the US. There would be massive riots. There would be millions of job losses and people being unable to power their cars, while also unable to get electricity. This would cause a economic downturn that would make the great depression seem pathetic.
Most of the Agnostics (including me) around the world will firmly decide on Atheism. No non-christians would become Christians any more. Many Christians who were unsure of their faith would turn away from Christianity.

End result:

Masses of casualties.
Notable decrease in number of Christians.
Massive decrease in number of people becoming Christians.
Utter collapse of the US economy.
Considerable economic downturn elsewhere.
Islamic terrorist groups gained large amounts of power. Thousands more die from their attacks.
Millions of people have their freedom violated.
Tens to hundreds of thousands of serious injuries and deaths in the initial resistance.
Many more follow in the lawlessness of the new US
Slow down in the scientific advancement of the earth.
Millions more deaths to cancer and aids due to taking longer to cure.

Is that really worth it?

All right, here's how this will inevitably play out. first, you MIGHT find a politician that will actually support this. Second, you will end up going home defeated when the vast majority of America (other Republicans too) unite against you in disgust. The aftermath: you lose all sympathy you previously had for the argument of theocracy (which I never supported anyway) and whoever supports it ends up becoming the social paraiahs of America.

To sum it up, not a good idea. By all means, go ahead, the effort may actually be mildly amusing, I'm just saying how I think that would play out. The political battlefield is more merciless than any on the planet. Remember that.

1. If you did have a slave, you'd use it for sick sexual practices because you are a pervert, not for physics.

2. You don't have a physics lab, or any kind of lab for that matter; I doubt you even have your own room.
