I've really go to hand it to Carly - she knows how to run a positive campaign. After all, she could have accused Tom Campbell of being a gay child molester rather than merely a demon. She ought to consider hiring Karl Rove as an advisor.
Seeing Carly running for the Senate - who would have thought? I actually met her long ago in the 70s after she dropped out of law school and became a receptionist temp worker for Kelly Services. You wouldn't know it now, but she was really a hot chick back in those days. And very popular with the bosses, one of whom told me "she could suck a tennis ball through a garden hose."
I'd pretty much forgotten about her, until I learned how she later took over Lucent Technologies and ran it into the ground, but bailed out just in time with a golden parachute. Then she almost bankrupted HP while giving herself a $60 million bonus plus a Gulf Stream corporate jet, and paid for it all by firing 20,000 workers and outsourcing everything to China and India.
You've got to admire a woman who can do all that. Just imagine what she'll do for America when she gets into the Senate, though personally I think she'd make an even better Treasury secretary.
