To me the real failure here is with the law enforcement in letting this happen. The police in this nation have truly bastardized the phrase "crime stoppers" as they really don't stop any crimes. What this man, the politician in Florida, Mark Folley and Ted Haggard did happened in the past and there is nothing we can do about it now but try and forget. The efforts of our legislation and law enforcement should be to stop crimes before they happen. Because of this it is only logical to mobilize a task force of elite crime-fighting capability to stop future crime (or: pre-crime). This unit would likely consist of Jack Bauer, Chuck Norris and Karl 'Da Turd Blossom' Rove. I predict that the number of unfairly jailed Republicans will decrease traumatically and the number of "unfairly" jailed Liberals to increase drastically. Unfortunately for them, the excuse "I didn't do it" won't apply since how can we really know what they are going to do in the future?

Alton Police Chief Arraigned



Jose Luis Vela has served as Alton's police chief for several years, removing criminals off the streets.
But on Thursday he was the one placed under arrest, charged with having sex with two of his male employees.
Following his arraignment on two charges of sexual assault, the Alton chief didn't have anything to say to Action 4 News or to his accusers.
And while he may claim he doesn't know who his accusers are, two men who are being called "Eloy" and "Frank," tell a different story.
They claim they got to know Chief Vela a little more than they wanted.
Both say they passed out while attending parties at Chief Vela's home and both accuse Vela of engaging in un-welcomed sexual activity.
Sheriff investigators made the arrest following a two week long investigation.
"This is the first time that I have heard of a chief of police being arrested for sexually assaulting his employees," said Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevio.
Sheriff Trevio even appeared to be taken back by the accusations.
"I don't know that I have a reaction to that. It's so strange and bizarre and just so out of the loop."
Sheriff Trevio says they arrested Vela at Mission City Hall, then searched his home and office for evidence that would corroborate witness statements.
"We were told that liquor, beer, drug paraphernalia had been taken from the property room to be used in these parties," says Trevio.
The sheriff says this investigation is not over.
"One of the things we're going to do following this arrest and we'll do this starting tomorrow as a matter of fact, we're going to interview every employee of the Alton police department plus the firemen who are housed next door."
Through those interviews the sheriff says he wants to see if there are any other victims and wants to know if anyone else has information relevant to this investigation.
Vela's bond was set at 100 thousand dollars for each count of sexual assault. Following his arraignment he was placed in solitary confinement because of the nature of the complaints and because he is a law enforcement officials.
The city of Alton has been plagued with problems. Back in August 2006, the former city manager was convicted on extortion and bribery charges. 58 year old Israel Sagredo was found guilty of accepting a 10-thousand dollar bribe from an undercover agent.

You know, I can see how a True Christian might accidentally wander into a gay restroom without realizing it. I mean these things aren't labeled, are they? It's time we started pressuring the airport authorities - a simple "Men" and "Women" sign isn't sufficient. We also need to have separate rooms labeled "Gays" and "Darkies". I realize that it would cost more to provide separate bathroom facilities for all four sexes, but really, I think it's necessary.

Well Brothers and sisters, Jesus has spoken. The Honorable Senator Craig, a Godly, Family Values Republican who spent countless hours placing Chick tracts in public toilets all across the fruited plain of this Nation, has been forced to resign his post because of the Clinton legacy.

I was quite touched by the final words in Senator Craig's resignation statement.

I never thought I'd have to admit this. It is awful, and I almost wish I had been caught playing footsie with a cop in some filthy toilet. But with all of the investigation going on lately, I have a feeling that this is going to come out, so I want to admit it....get out in the open....come 'out of the closet' so to speak.

Friends, my father was not a Baptist pastor and my mother wasn't a stay-at-home mom. They were.....they were......scientists. Physicists actually, and worked with Erwin Schrodinger, Enrico Fermi and that JOO J. Robert Oppenheimer. They idolized Albert Einstein. Friends, my original birth certificate, one of only a few issued at White Sands Proving Grounds (legally Alamogordo, Otero County) New Mexico, reads... (sob) Albert Einstein Pistle. After that, they transferred to Dugway and worked on things the were never allowed to discuss. I still have a few quarts of various substances in sealed vacuum bottles, but the chemical names on the front don't make any sense. I looked them up but no luck. I mean what is 'Armageddon #9' supposed to mean? It sounds like a Beatles song.

Of course, as soon as I reached the age of majority, I changed my name legally to Alan Edward Pistle; but someone is sure to find out eventually. I am not sure I can live with the shame of being named after some filthy JOO, even if he was the smartest person in the world since Issac Newton.

But there IS a silver lining to this story. Pity my poor younger brother, Charles (ChuckieD) Darwin Pistle. Hahahahah! Just thinking about it makes me laugh! There, but for the Grace of God, go I.

Want to hear something REALLY funny? The anti-war crowd went up to the Pohakuloa training facility and one of them happened to have a hand-held radiation detector. When it went nuts, the public was told that the army fired some depleted Uranium shells in recoilless rifles some years ago and the radiation was from that. We all know that the entire island is a huge, nuclear and biological weapons storage facility. That's why they have the same sort of security up there as at Area 51.

Your words bring tears my eyes. I must sadly confess that my grandfather (who was a preacher in Armpit, Texas), during a Sunday sermon told his congregation that "Jesus was a Jew."

Of course, Grandpa got lynched, and the rest of the family was run out of town.

I've been carrying this guilt around me for years. How liberating it feels to finally speak up!

Friends, the State of Minnesota, known for its collapsing bridges, is also one of the most vile Lieberal states in the union and has produced some of the worst Demoncrats in the country, Hubert H.
