If I may respectfully suggest something, I fear that the tiara will be rigged to explode upon the head of the next Miss USA. Once this sorrowful year is over and everyone has had a chance to see what a horrible mistake this all was, they will want to award the crown to some worthy, American girl.

That is when the terrorists will strike. (Wait, wasn't that the plot of that Sandra Bullock movie? ) They are very good at biding their time and going for the long haul. Mark my words, worse is to come.

Here in Europe we have a tendency to dismiss America's ability to occasionally avoid the predictable in the area of visual arts.

There is good reason to question the tastes of a nation built on fast-food, NASCAR, bible misinterpretation and home mobility but be it pure statistical chance or the grace of some nascent decency there are times when Americans can rise above mediocrity and do something special...


... like an Arab-American Miss America!


Kudos for such a good choice and for showing that cultural diversity is alive and well in the U.S.A.!

I meant nothing personal towards him, i respect his opinion. And no, my statement was not a "Lack of opinion" for that would mean i stated a fact. Its fine if you dont agree with my opinion, but you don't need to start a fight over it. I'm sure a Pastor is meant to act abit more mature then this.
