  • Texas Wants to Steal LBC From Freehold

The Texas Rupublican Party copied Landover Baptist Documents when it wrote its platform!

This has me really worried. The Republican Party of Texas has published the platform it intends use to run the State. It is almost word for word the operating principles of Landover Baptist.

When I saw this, I called up a Republican Mayor friend down there. "You could just as well have said we're going to run the State by KJV 1611," I said. "You've got everything else in their, less government, anti gays, anti abortion, aid for church schools, patriotism and all the rest. What's the deal?"

"Well, Johny," he drawled, "We jes' go to thinkin' them hats your preachers wear should jes' be a little bigger, that's all."

I hope our wonderful Pastors and the LBC Board are not tempted by this.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

I do believe that our good Pastor Hardwick's hat is just a little bigger now than it was before. I think it is wonderful that the Texas Republican Party is supporting the principles of freedom and self-determination over homosexuality, even if they did crib it from us.

Praise His glorious name that our message is getting out. It's high time someone other than us saw the truth that in a Constitutional republic with limited government, we must bring back sodomy laws and prevent unelected liberal activist judges from invalidating them.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Now THIS is what I call self-governance and individual freedom!

We Christians get the perfect Christian government and anybody who disagrees can literally go to Hell, or a different state! (That is, a state that Texas hasn't demanded change its laws as well.)

Neither the United States nor any state shall recognize or grant to any unmarried person the legal rights
or status of a spouse. We oppose the recognition of and granting of benefits to people who represent themselves as
domestic partners without being legally married. We advocate the repeal of laws that place an unfair tax burden on
        families.
I am glad that the Republican Party of Texas is fulfilling its responsibility to its own state by impressing their own laws on other states. Also, no taxes!

GODly Texas understands that only Christian Caucasians deserve inalienable rights. Praise!

I hear the hill country around Austin is very nice. And lots of cheap labor.

Glory! Just imagine the opportunity . . . a branch of LBC in Texas! I bet under their new platform, they could even find a way to fund it with taxpayer dollars provided by the homosexuals in Dallas-Fort Worth and the hippies in Austin.

I can only imagine that a large campus, hiring hundreds of Christians, maybe including a private school, would qualify as an "economic development" project and receive many grants from the state's economic development department . . .
            Bible boring? Nonsense!

As I said I'm worried about losing LBC. But, one cannot deny the financial opportunities for LBC in Texas.

They have this great prison system there, set up by Godly GWB when he was Governor. In Iowa, we have these nose-in-the-air "professionals" who try to rehab prisoners by finding some psychological explanation for their behavior and then treating it.

In Texas, prisoners are there because they sinned. Child molesters, serial killers and drug dealers are simply sinners. So, either kill them or save their souls in a Christian rehab program are the only choices.

In the entire world, there is no institution that knows more about how to rehab the sinner than Landover Baptist. Our church would have the prison contract in a heartbeat.
