WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 — Senator Larry E. Craig of Idaho, defying the wishes of many in his own Republican Party, said Thursday that he would remain in the Senate through next year despite a court ruling against him in Minnesota, where he had sought to rescind his guilty plea stemming from an undercover sex sting.

Mr. Craig said he had reversed his previously announced decision to leave the Senate if he could not get the plea thrown out. He said he would instead serve out his third term, which expires in January 2009. He said he would not run for a fourth.

I don't know.. I've always been suspicous of this guy ever since that incident.

You are quite right, Sister, but there is no need to get your little green thingie in an uproar. The executive board has determined that public restrooms are merely meeting grounds for homers, so we have arranged with the primary NASA contractor to provide "3 day" Depends(TM) to all of our pastors and their wives.

How refreshing it will be for some of the pastors who don't have access to the Landover Gulfstreams to know they can leave home on Friday and arrive in Myanmar the next Tuesday without ever having to use a bathroom. Pastor Ezekiel will be especially grateful, I am sure, since this same product will solve his annoying 'leakage' problem.
