      Re: Christianity, Republicans and guns.

Jim, dear Jim, your answer is in the very nature of man, as dictated by our Lord.
He made man perfect, in his image. Over the span of 6000 years, of course Satan got into some, turning them into questioning heathens and heretics.
The few who remain pure in His sight are TrueChristians. Man made fire and then guns, as GOD told him to. Therefore man is desreving of both.
The only reason you seem to find a correlation between guns, republicans, and Christians is that
      A. Republican values are largely supported by the bible, thus republicans are Christians.
      B. Without guns, Republicans/Christians could not defend their homes, families and country from unholy heathen terrorists such as Africans, Mexicans, Arabs, Europeans, Aliens, Jews, Democrats, and Japs.

So of course the three are connected and form a symbiotic bond.

I hope this was helpful, however, I have no advice for your soul on your obvious scrouples with our Savior, Baby Jesus.

          Re: Christianity, Republicans and guns.

This is very simple, and as a gun owner and a gun store owner, I will give you the answer:

JESUS CHRIST is the foundation of America, and the Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights says we have a right to be armed.

Therefore JESUS wants us to own guns.

We own guns in order to protect our valiant country against invading unwashed hordes of terrorists and communists, and we own guns to protect our homes from thieving, raping Negros and Mexicans.

The reason that most Republicans are gun owners is because we understand and value the traditions of the American way of life.

We know the family is one man, one woman, and their children, which all must be protected by GOD and the various assault rifles He blesses us with.

We rightfully recognize any attempt to take away or limit the weapons we have access to (such as sniper rifles, flame throwers, Phosphorus grenades, armor-piercing bullets, missiles, Bouncing Betties, etc) as a gross violation of our Second Amendment rights, and have no reservations whatsoever letting the world know how upset we are over it.

Are Christians destined to be Republican?

Why does it seem that most gun owners are Republican?
We are Republican because this is the party that represents our interests. It is very simple. Republicans are pro-life, love their country, support the Free Enterprise System, are against socialism, defend traditional values, and allow for us to put God first in our lives rather than some atheo-fascist earthly ruler. The Republican party honors what our Evangelical Founders had in mind when God sanctioned them to create a nation for True Christians™.

Not everyone who calls their self a "Christian" is destined to be a Republican, but all True Christians™ - i.e., those who glorify the LORD by following every word of the Holy Bible (KJV 1611) - are invariably Republican because we are concerned about the direction His country is going, we understand who shares our values, and we want leaders who will implement Biblical Law as the law of the land.

This country has strayed far from its evangelical roots. This decadence kicked into overdrive in the early 20th century as false translations of the Bible, based on Roman manuscripts, began to appear on our shores. In fact, since the arrival of our modern English translations, beginning with the ASV of 1901, America has seen:
            1. God and prayer kicked out of our public school
            2. Abortion-on-demand legalized
            3. Homosexuality accepted nationally as an "alternate life style"
            4. In-home pornography via TV, VCR, and Internet
            5. Child kidnapping and pornography running rampant
            6. Dope-smoking has become an epidemic
            7. Satanism is on the rise

The depraved Madison Avenue sales system that brings false Bibles into the country should set alarms ringing in American "Christians." Instead, deluded by television, they dutifully nod and remark that, "It must be good; everybody's buying one."

Is there any "good" coming from modern translations? Surely. The publishing companies are making millions.

Today American "Christians" are spiritually anemic. They turn instead to their favorite "Bible psychologist" for help rather than Scripture. America as a whole is as morally decayed as Sodom and Gomorrah.

            Ezekiel 16:49
Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

From the time of its publication in 1611, the King James Bible has grown in popularity. Although not mandated by the King to be used in the churches of England, it did, in a matter of a few years, manage to supplant all of the versions translated before it. Though it was not advertised in the Madison Avenue fashion of today's versions, it soon swept all other versions from the hearts and hands of the citizenry of England and its colonies.

With the conquest of the British Empire behind it, it crossed the Atlantic to the United States. Landing here it overwhelmed the double foothold of the Roman Catholic Church planted previously under the flags of Spain and France.

It then began to permeate young America with its ideals. Its Truths led to the establishment of an educational system, based on Scripture, that was unparalleled in the world. It instilled in men the ideals of freedom and personal liberty - thoughts so foreign to the minds of men that their inclusion in our Constitution could only be described as an "experiment" in government.

It commissioned preachers of righteousness who, on foot and horseback, broke trails into the wilderness and spread the Truth of the Gospel and of right living. In its wake was left what could only be described..."one nation, under God..." This accomplished, it set out for the conquest of the heathen world. Bible colleges (Princeton, Harvard, Yale) were founded. Mission societies formed. And eager young missionaries began to scour the globe with little more than a King James Bible and God's Holy Spirit.

The Republican Party is the party that will return this once-great nation to its Biblical roots. True Christians™ are Republican because God wills it! The alternative is full of a bunch of hellbound, socialist Unitarian dope-smokers who hate America.

Now as for why True Christians™ are gunowners:
The notion that a Christian should not own or use a weapon is unbiblical and flies in the face of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution.

            Matthew 26:51
And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

            John 18:10-11
Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Here, Peter is cutting off the ear of a soldier in the group that had come to retrieve Jesus. While Jesus commanded him to put up his sword, it must be acknowledged that Peter and the other disciples carried swords daily for self defense against robbers, wild animals, etc. Jesus acknowledged their possession of weapons but never told His disciples to give them up.

            Luke 22:38
And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Wars, including wars instigated by God were prevalent throughout the Old Testament. The wars were grievous to God, but necessary to keep the horrible influences of pagan nations from infiltrating the culture of the Israelites, and for other reasons. God never told any Old Testament figure to not carry weapons. Jesus did not, nor did the writers of the New Testament. It is a matter of common sense that the current, practical weapons of any time in history are the ones that must be in the hands of all citizens to be able to defend themselves effectively against criminals of that culture and era. Guns are ours.

Christians who believe that the U.S. Constitution was framed (including the Second Amendment) under the guiding hand of Almighty God have an obligation to train with, obtain, and keep arms to protect themselves, their families and their country. God wills it.
            II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Why are gun rights advocates more likely to be Republicans?
Because we believe in freedom. We don't believe in the nanny state that will take over our lives and force us into slavery for the greater good.

Why are Republicans more likely to be Christian?
Because over 80% of Americans claim to be Christian. The majority of Demoncrates are so-called Chrsitians as well.

Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store not a federal agency. Every Christian has God given rights and if LIEbrals don't like it they can move to one of their socialist paradises.

I agree brother William, but it seems they are trying to make the whole world communist.
