  • Weeding out terrorists from the military during a Holy War:

I still don't understand why we have Islamists working in the military when there are good Christian Americans who need jobs. Here's an easy way to determine whether the troops are on our side or not:

I think some people just don't understand what it means when you join the ARMY. You do what they want, not what you want.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I'm confused, although they should listen to their comanders and go to the concert, they were listening to Christian Rock, which we all know is really Satan's tool.

Of course you're confused, you're a woman. If a Maj. General tells you that you're going to a Christian concert, that's where you're going whether you like it or not.

So if Maj. General told you to worship Satan? I'm just concerned because you know that once someone has converted to false Christianity they're basically lost.

Oh, but he didn't, did he?

No I guess not. It's just I spend so much time trying to keep the boys from that Christian rock stuff and telling them to stand up for themselves, I'm not sure how I would feel about this situation.

I would ask Seth, but he's on the road.

When your sons are old enough to sign up, they are also old enough to understand that a soldier must obey any orders that does not conflict with US law.
As True Christians they will also be able to visit a concert with "Christian rock stuff" without taking any permanent damage.

              Jesus will protect your sons.

Sister BIG maybe I could help clarify this for you. Think of the 1960's. there were people protesting this or protesting that and the protesters always had one group of people attending every sick hate filled speech, The Police. These officers had to stand and listen while some communista fruitcake bleated out derisive rhetoric about the country they had vowed to protect and serve. They were told to be there, they had a job to do, they did what they had to do. Just imagine what it would have been like without their practiced patience and reserve. They would have been regularly beating people over the head, arresting them for no reason or even shooting some of the demonstrators.Doing things that you don't want to do is an important life lesson, following orders blindly is what military style training most want to instill in the young soldier or officer then and now.

Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Thank you brothers, that makes it much clearer. I guess I just get rather protective of my boys and forget that by the time they have to deal with this they will be firmly rooted in Christ.
