    I'm a little confused...

I'm a Christian and a Republican, but I just am a little confused. Maybe you guys could enlighten me so that I further understand your reasoning behind this concept and accept it.

If Christians don't support killing people (abortion, euthanasia), then why do you support the death-penalty?

    Thanks. God bless!

Well it's like this - the death penalty doesn't usually involve killing anyone who's a TC,whereas the other two might....at least,I presume that's their 'logic" - though what passes for logic here can be a tiny bit dodgy.

I question your claim that you are "a Christian and a Republican." If that were true, then you wouldn't be asking such an obvious question. I'm guessing that you're a damned mary worshiping catlick.

God specifically tells us not to murder babies in the Holy Bible. He also tells us that certain people SHOULD be killed. Perverts, queers, witches, and such are an abomination in the eyes of Jesus, and we are commanded to kill them.

Mankind doesn't decide who lives and dies. Jesus does. You should know that, papist.
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

        Re: I'm a little confused...

Yes, as the good Pastor Ezekiel writes, we are against killing innocent Christian people. Or in the case of abortion and stem cell research, innocent, potentially Christian, blobs of undifferentiated cells.

Some people deserve death. Look at what Moses did when he came back carrying the Commandments, including one commonly translated as "thou shalt not kill": he had several thousand of his fellow Israelites killed.

Look what the God-chosen tribes did when one tribe, the Sons of Benjamin, got all uppity: they killed the Benjaminites. All of 'em they could catch, anyways, as the poor devils tried to get away across the plains of Geba.

God says to kill people who prosyletize for a false faith. In fact, if a false preacher arises amongst a family of the people God says his own family is duty-bound to cast the first stone at his execution.

Oh, it's a glorious old faith! Yessir! We Christians love some folks and condemn other folks to death, based on what we read in the Bible. How wonderful it is to be able to say, in righteous Godly justice, "You...yes you!...should die. You are worthy of death!" And not only that, we feel good about it!

That is merely one of the glorious benefits of believing in God.

Indeed...it's all those others out there who deserve to die, horribly if possible. Never the "true believers".

And each true believer believes that his/her & ONLY his/her particular belief system is the "one true faith" & ticket to heaven....everyone else of course, being bound for hell...that particular detail is usually emphasised with gruesome details listed by the true believer in a most unchristianlike manner.
