Haven't had a good book burning in a while, but I'll have to give this a read before it goes onto the Koran pile. Heck, it's by a former President so it may be worth the paper.

Haven't really heard from Bush in a couple years - I guess he's been staying out of politics to write this. There are some interesting comparisons to President Grant in this.

In his book he trots out the same old lies that have been proven, in some cases by the very people he appointed to investigate them, to be untrue.

But this is nothing compared to the 2 trillion dollar war he got us into in Iraq.

You don't seem to understand the United States' role in the world. Our chief export is God-inspired retribution and the tools thereof. Spending in this category is both healthy for our economy and morally justified.

The expenditures in Iraq are approximately $750 billion, so far. This is all money well-spent since it allows our fine military a chance to get rid of old munitions, gain real combat experience and field test new systems. Of course, you completely fail to account for the revenues that will be earned. The publicity alone will earn many, many military contracts from those various pissant European countries afraid of their own shadows or wanting to flex muscles, or both. In the end, I believe we will show a net profit from the war. A blessing from the Lord for our diligence and faithfulness... unless 0bama screws this up completely!

On the flipside, 0bama's massive domestic expenditures carry no hope of a positive outcome. The money just goes down the drain, buying nothing that will bear fruit in the future.

If you remember right Bush crashed the economy and that is why the first bailout was created and passed by Bush. He passed a $700 billion dollar bailout in 2008. But this is nothing compared to the 2 trillion dollar war he got us into in Iraq.

Bush did everything to better the country, on all levels, to protect us. Obama does nothing but hand out trillions to his islamic fundamentalist friends breaking the bank which will collapse our military and the next thing you know there is a half crescent moon over Washington....Wake UP!!

I was right! I got an infraction for "spitting on the American flag"! LOL! George Bush sucked, and about 76% of the American population agree with me.

76% of the American public think it was Bush who president and not Obama during Katrina and when the banking crises started. Just like they think George H Bush was president and not Bill Clinton when they left Saddam in charge during the 1st Gulf War. Face it; most Americans are victims of the lamestream media.

Bill Clinton was "going around town" that much is true. However, he was running a sound economy AND nearly got rid of Osama Bin Laden TWICE! He even had a task force specially assigned to kill Bin Laden. Bush reassigned that task force, giving Bin Laden enough time to plan 9-11. One of the MANY mistakes Bush made.

EXCUSE ME??? Clinton was an UTTER DISASTER for the country up until the day the Republicans took over Congress and Speaker Gringrich set him right. If Clinton had his way, and thank God he didn't, the military would be filled with gays and we would all have socialized health care FORCED down out throats! Even as it was do to Clinton's out of control tax policies the National Deficit sank to dangerously low levels under the Clinton regime.

Ex president Bush; Americas worst president ever. There is a reason why he was out if sight and did not campaign for a 2008 ,Republican presidential nominee, nor a single 2010 midterm Republican. His approval ratings were 34 when we finally got rid of that guy. All Republicans know that his "campaig help" would have been a death sentence for any candidate.

Godly President Bush had to take some time off friend, it had nothing to do with your liberal lie above. You can't run a country as smoothly and as efficiently as Mr. Bush and not be exhausted. He did his part for God and country and took a well deserved break.
