Senate Republicans join in vote for cloture on DADT

For those who missed it, the Senate voted 63 - 33 to close debate on the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell . . . and then voted 65 - 31 to repeal it. (Sorry, forgot to change the title; the update came just as I was writing this.)

Six RINO Senators joined the Demoncrats in promoting homosexual rape in the armed forces: Sens. Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mark Kirk of Illinois, and George Voinovich of Ohio.

Remember when Scott Brown was the Tea Party Christian candidate? Wonder how that's gonna work out for him next time around.

The bill already passed the House, 275-175. It now goes to O'Bama for signature.

I think every Congressman who voted to let fags rape our soldiers should be forced to take it in the behind and catch AIDS just to prove that it's an okay thing to do. They should lead from the front, shouldn't they?

The bill already passed the House, 275-175. It now goes to O'Bama for signature.

I can be wrong but I read it goes to the senate this week's Wednesday because its whats called Stand Alone Bill different from what was voted before in the senate. Its not attached to military bill that was there before.

Also for anyone's thinking the skys falling Wednesday its the bill only about to end "Don't ASK Don't TELL" not when or how or in what ways. The ways it'll be put in effects has to be decided later. Thats what I read and saw Monday.

A buch fired were translators and hey we don't have that many cause theres lots of variations in the Middle East languages. So it meant there were stacks of messages and taped videos in Middle East no one could translate to intercept plans and they were all scratching their heads but couldn't get the translators back because "Don't ASK Don't TELL"

Plus do you know how much money spent to train those language people a lot. Better to get them back for translating and keep a return on the investments. Seems to me.

Wow I'm surprised the senate voted already? I thought it was scheduled this Wednesday. They're working over the weekend? I guess they want to put the pedal to the meddle like they say and get out of the sessions so they all go home for Christmas or something. Thank you for the update it's interesting. Still I can't believe it went through I heard the senate which stalls on most house votes were going to sink it.

I want to say I know you're suprised and I would say upset, but the way to look at it is only .02 percent of the population is known as lesbian or gay or bisexual so really what is 2 percent in the whole military? You can look at it as a tiny dent if helps and it makes you feel better. Its the same with the gay marriage thing Mass. wasn't changed to the eye when they voted For gay marriage because the numbers are small only 2 percent. Chances are you're not going to end up living next to gay marrieds or being involved in one in the miliary because the numbers just aren't there. Same thing it won't break the bank for insurance companies who have to honor partners or gay husbands now or husbands and their wives of gay soldiers the numbers just arent there. Small.

I was talking to my daughter and she was laughing that some people in the forces are afraid. It's not like everyone at every job place talks about their personal information. She says the stopped "Don't ASK Don't TELL" is mainly protection so the gays lesbians bisexuals aren't fired for being who you are, which can't change like we talked about. It doesn't mean all these people will wash out of the closet tidal wave and swinging from trees. Most of them will just be professional and I think not even want to talk about the gayness just keep doing their job like a good professional.
