    With a pivotal election year just days away, it's important to have web sites with reliable information on how to register to vote, why civic engagement is vital, and the call for Christians and other people of goodwill to act in the public arena. A new web site, IVoteValues.org, is now up and running. Cosponsored by Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, this regularly updated site offers a buzzing hub of information that will be useful to families, pastors and activists alike.       Are they no longer able to think for themselves?

          Of course Americans can think for themselves. However Americans are busy hardworking folks. What this resource does is give American voters the information they need to discover which candidates hold the biblical values that are important to them.

              The only guide we need is the Holy Bible. Using it, we produce a voter's guide highlighting which Republicans deserve our True Christian™ votes.

                  Absolutely fascinating that someone as saintly as yourself would even know of the existence of such a thing.

                  So is there something preventing your political candidates from simply telling people what they stand for? Slightly radical notion,I know - but it does seem to work quite well for the rest of the world.

                      They are all quite forthcoming about what they stand for. The GOP stands for Jesus, America and the Bible!

                          And the Demoncrats are quite unapologetic about the fact they want the terrorists to take over America and give everyone abortions and then make everyone marry aborted fetuses of the same gender. The choice facing America in '08 is pretty clear, I'd say.
                          O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet!                           God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
