Good question but not an easy one to answer.

In itself wars are horrible offcourse. People get killed, cities destroyed etc ...

But that's only one side. For the economy wars are blessing. Weapons are built, military bases, reconstruction contracts for American companies, ... And what's good for American economy is good for the American people wouldn't you say?

Not to mention all the oil we can lay our hands upon.

And all this is bringing me to another level. Is it wrong to fight islam? Is it wrong to fight commies?

Off course not. The good thing must be done by all means necessary! Even if that includes going to war.

Some facts:

• Jesus HIMSELF told the President to go to war
• over one million mooslims are now dead
• GWB created a great democracy in the Middle East
• the USA is a safer country because of that

How can that not be a good thing?

Sure, there is still some work to do, and one can only hope that Iran is next. But you must appreciate the volumes of work that has been done already.

Gosh I hope he's talking about Iran. A war in Iran would be a cakewalk now that we have permanent bases in Iraq. I think it would last six days or maybe six weeks. I doubt six months. And, I think we would be welcomed as liberators by a greatful nation throwing flower petals in our path.

McCain let Jesus down in Vietnam by getting captured so why is he going to do any different as president of The War of Terror? You didn't see President Bush or Mr Cheny sitting around some comie prison during the Vietnam war like Lazy Pants McCain. McCain could have been a good Christian American and waged a one man guerilla war behind enemy lines when he was shot down, instead he rolled up wining about a broken back and got captured. The man is not fit to fill Bush's cowboy boots, no sir, not at all.

Godly point. The whole time he was in Vietnam, did McCain take the opportunity to declare "Mission Accomplished" even once? I don't think so. How can you trust somebody with an attitude like that to fight a war?

I still don't trust that liberal. Yes, more wars would be a good idea, but let's not forget that McCain wants us to fight these wars with an army made up entirely of illegal Mexicans driving Toyota Priuses (Prii?) that wouldn't be allowed to torture anyone.
