I just can't believe my eyes.
In the National polls, Romney is leading; in the most recent polls, he's leading Gingrich by a 2 to 1 margin!
OK, you're thinking the same thing I am. The National polls include all sorts of liberal places like New Hampshire, where Romney is leading Ron Paul by a 2 to 1 margin, followed by Santorum, Huntsman, and Gingrich.
But what about South Carolina? Just a couple of weeks ago, Gingrich was stomping all over Romney like one of Obama's jackbooted thugs, and last week, Santorum was rising. Now? ROMNEY with 31% to Santorum's 20%! Gingrich is close behind Santorum.
How could the Mormon be ahead in South Carolina, the home of Christian Exodus?
Simple. Santorum and Gingrich are splitting the Christian conservative vote.
The only solution is for one of them to drop out before January 21 and endorse the other.
Which should drop out? Gingrich or Santorum?
