It is with great sorrow that I must report to all that Mike Huckabee, who has campaigned long and hard with the goal of bringing God's Law back to these United States, has lost the Republican nomination to God-hating John McCain.

Sen. John McCain swept all four nominating contests on Tuesday to become the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

McCain won primaries in Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island, giving him more than the 1,191 delegates needed to clinch the GOP nomination.

I'm at a loss for words. Maybe the Phelps family is right, and the United States has truly rejected our Lord!

I was very disappointed with Huckabee's concession speech. Doesn't he know where his support came from? God (in the form of a campaign strategy designed by our own Pastor Deacon Fred, the Huckabee campaign's unofficial chairman) put him in a position to lead the Christian evangelical community in fighting for our right to practice our religion, yet he only quoted the Bible twice in his speech tonight!

Now, Huck is a good and Godly man, but I do hope he will realize that we True Christians(TM) are counting on him to keep God at the forefront of Republican politics.

Well, as a prominent local supporter of Governor huckabee's candidacy, I have to admit to great disappointment. He gave me a courtesy call last night, so this comes as no surprise. Of course I wish him well in his future position on the board of whichever multinational corporations he cares to occupy.

I have decided to switch my support back to my original position. I am hereby re-endorsing President George W. Bush for a third term as the leader of our Godly nation. With enough prayers, Jesus will make this dream come true.

This is a sad day for America. But I'm not sure if I understand everything. Why can't Pastor Huckabee be president? Politics is confusing, but thank the Lord I have my husband, Mr. Whitford, to guide me and tell me who to vote for.

The way I understand it, Sister, Pastor Huckabee can't be President because a majority of American "citizens" hate Jesus and, by extension, Pastor Huckabee.

We no longer follow the ridiculous liberal myth that unelected liberal activist judges should legislate from the bench by enforcing the Constitution. While we conservatives believe in strict construction and original intent, we also understand that the Constitution is not a suicide pact, and our current conservative Supreme Court clearly has no interest in reading it as one.

I can respect the members of the LSD "church," who believe in salvation through magic underwear, because they hate many of the same people whom God hates, but that doesn't mean that they are Christians. I can respect the Iranians under President Mahmoud Imadinnerjacket for killing homers, but surely they aren't Christians even under your elastic definition. It's possible for people to be useful in this life but damned in the next.
