    Saudi king hates freedom of speech!

    This just in:

    King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia ordered the arrest of a local newspaper columnist who was accused of blasphemy and offending Prophet Mohammed (Piss Be Upon Him), newspapers reported on Wednesday.

    The King’s order followed public furor inside the Gulf kingdom over some articles written by Hamza Kashgari, considered as abusive of Islam and the Prophet.

    “The Monarch today issued orders to arrest and try Kashgari for his offences against the deity and the Prophet (Piss Be Upon Him),” the newspapers said, quoting a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

    “The order came after many scholars, dignitaries and citizens in the kingdom sent messages to the Monarch expressing indignation at Kashgari offences.”

    ...

    After the order, many Saudi newspapers carried a letter written by Kashgari on his Twitter page apologizing for any offence, which he said was inadvertent.

    One newspaper said Kashgari has fled the Kingdom to an eastern Asian country through Jordan and the UAE. It did not specify that country.
    Seems "Allah" and "MooHamHead" are so delicate, they need to be protected from the bad man with the computer!

    This just goes to show how utterly ridiculous, barbaric, and petty Islam truly is.

      Islam is NOT a religion!

      Islam is a fascist ideology designed to preserve Arab supremacy.

      Islam is political, it makes no disctinction between religion and state. Muslims are told that they should kill all that leave Islam. The system has become a prison from which there is no escape.

      Matt 5:17-20 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:..."

          Fortunately, Christians are bigger and more mature than Muslims.

          I have absolutely no objections to columnists writing critical articles about false prophets and satanic religions.

              I completely agree. They step over the line when they draw God into it though; but he will have his judgment soon enough.

              Revelation 21:8 says so quite explicitly.
