Of COURSE a school ought to be encouraging The Truth - Christianity - but some people will take advantage of anything to suit their own agenda. Now the Muslims will take advantage of Governor Jindal's educational program to teach ISLAM on the taxpayer's dime!
That just burns me up that people would take advantage of Christians like that to try and ruin this Great Nation from the inside out.

In a state that is admittedly next to last in the nation educationally, is this really the time to mess around with the LORD?
Please, please tell me this isn't happening in God's favorite country!
Think of the children!
Rep. Valarie Hodges, R-Watson, says she had no idea that Gov. Bobby Jindal’s overhaul of the state’s educational system might mean taxpayer support of Muslim schools.
“I actually support funding for teaching the fundamentals of America’s Founding Fathers’ religion, which is Christianity, in public schools or private schools,” the District 64 Representative said Monday.
“I liked the idea of giving parents the option of sending their children to a public school or a Christian school,” Hodges said.
Hodges mistakenly assumed that “religious” meant “Christian.”
