Voters Just Don't Understand the Republican Party.

Republicans just can't buy a break. They open up their hearts to poor people and what do the get in return--criticism that they are cruel and uncaring.

Republicans really do care about poor people. They want them to be happy and prosporous like, well, Republicans. It there wasn't this soft spot in Republican hearts for poor people, they would not fight long and hard over the food stamps bill.

Our Party knows poor people can be happy--but only with the tough love of moving them off of welfare can they find this happiness. Cuts in the food stamp bill should be called "love cuts" because they will result in the poor going out and finding jobs.

Cruel party insists on massive SNAP cuts in farm bill and push for immigration reform to be as harsh as possible
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Don't forget the Republican compassion for minorities. My dad has voted GOP his entire life, and he has dozens of minorities working on his dairy. The Republican party knows that this country was built by minority Anglo Saxons who erected fine plantations and churches when the natives were living in leather tents and praying to a buffalo.

It's a weird lifestyle choice to be poor but God obviously wants some poor to be around (Isaiah 58:7-11). They don't need enslavement by Big Government they need poorly paid jobs which doesn't dispute their lifestyle choice.

Just when did eating become a "right," instead of a "privilege?" I don't see word one about a right to eat in the Constitution or in the Bible. Besides, if you're hungry, all you have to do is ask God to give you your daily bread. You don't have to take it from hard working American families.

Amen Brother W! Liberals are always going on and on about "rights," like animal rights, human rights, homo rights, Negro rights, etc. But the one right they don't care about at all is the "right to work."

Thank the Lord that there are still countries where young people enjoy the right to work without being forced to join a union.

Young beaners in Pakistan exercising their right to work

Liberal peacenik union thugs also try to prevent young people from joining the military, which is one of the best career opportunities in the world. That's particularly upsetting, especially now that the business these days is mostly privatized. In Africa - where my company is a major recruiter and equipment supplier - the military requires no taxpayer subsidies. Most of the budget is supplied by the privatized diamond-mining industry, so there's no need for a nanny-state. It's a win-win for capitalism!

ROTC program in Africa is financed by
          private diamond-mining companies

The right-to-work, in my opinion, easily exceeds the right-to-eat. After all, for those willing to work, it's almost a certainly that the employer will see to it that the employees are fed. After all, kids can't work 18-hour days when they're starving.

          Kids love it!

I don't want to speak out of turn, but I'm assuming that these babies have proper documentation. I would hate to errantly ask the Lord to show favor to the little boarder jumpers if they stole the jobs from hard working white American babies.

Honestly, poor people, what difference does it make to them if they don't get a food stamp? If God wants them to have food and stay on earth, then he will arrange for it to happen, if God decides he either wants you in heaven or hell, who are we to interfere?

The intended recipients for many of these food stamps are already deceased . It is just a scam for people to collect money from their deceased relatives, which ironically actually incentives people for having dead relatives. http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=90529

Cutting food stamps is one of the kindest and most loving acts imaginable, and the people who disagree are probably just scammers.

There can be no denying that, Prayer Warrior. The Democrats are showing their hate for poor people by taking money from the rich and making poor people into sorry unemployed donothings.

Republicans are the only ones who introduce poor people to the world of opportunity that is America.

Maybe the republicans should try explaining their views on rape again. That always plays well on TV.
