The Iowa Caucus, the first event of every presidental cycle, is a showcase for Republican Christians. Several wonderful Christians are asked by God to compete. Last time God requested Michelle Bachmann and several others to file there.
Now comes the liberal press trying the smear the good names of those Christians who put themselves out there in front of the voters in the name of Jesus. Why these atheist press juveniles have to discuss the practice of paying local politicians for endorsement of candidates is beyond me.
A local Iowa State Senator, for example, is paid for endorsing one of the Christian canidates for the Republican nomination for President of the United States. The local State Senator, in turn, is expected to work his butt off raising money and making appearances for the candidate. Some are too busy to get this work done, but they always intend to do so when they accept the money and make the public endorsement.
The press is ruining this showcase for Christian politics.
