I drove up to Ames yesterday to hear Donald speak at the Christian Values Conference. I'm telling you, that man is profound. Several people were taking notes during his talk. They will mull over them later for nuanced meaning. I'll just touch on a few of things he says he has been thinking about.

1.) Hillary Clinton probably will be the Democrat's nominee for President. Donald knows Hillary and thinks she will be a forminable candidate.

2.) If the Democrats are able to allow illegal immigrants to have citizenship, these new voters will vote Democratic.

3.) Republicans need a candidate who will get more votes than Hillary.

His speech was loaded with profound observations about politics. We are so lucky to have him as a Republican.

Hilary Clinton just represents the next step in moral depravity and sin. The Demoncrats will be lining up to vote for her. Having illegal immigrants voting in our election is the same as voter fraud. They shouldn't be voting and when they do vote it counter acts the vote of a legitimate citizen, essentially nullifying it. If you want everyone to get a fair vote the only way to do it is by ensuring many people can't vote.

This is why we need to re-institute literacy tests, voter ID, and stronger citizenship tests. Why should people who can't even read the Bible be voting in the first place?

Great point Pastor Zeke. When Mr. Trump said our Republican candidate would need to get more votes than Hillary, I thought he would go on to say Pastor Huckabee would be God's favorite and God would see to it he won.

I need to go over my notes of the Trump address and see if he implied that anywhere. Mostly, Mr. Trump is so smart he goes right over my head. With some further study sometimes I can understand what he is saying.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Godly Republican Party needs new leadership in light of the defeat Karl "Bush's Brain" Rove handed us in the last election.

Mr. Trump seems to have a firm grasp of the issues and his ability to distill complex problems will one day earn him the title of the Chauncey Gardiner of the Republican Party.

The liberal news media in scared to death of Donald Trump. They go out of their way to ignore the important things he has to say.

For example, just a couple of days ago, he was on a network news program and said we don't yet know if we have seen an actual Obama birth certificate. If the media reported this remark, they would have to admit it is true. So, to make sure no one finds out, they chose to not report the truth.

Donald takes so many risks in telling the truth, I'm afraid for his safety.

The farmers in Iowa thought China was paying them a good price for their corn and soybeans. President Trump knew China should pay more. Now the Chinese are buying from South America. Iowa farmers trust in Trump will never weaken.

Today there is more evidence that Donald Trump towers over the intellect of the entire Federal Government. Let's review what has happened. Trump wisely increased tariffs across the board. He really lowered the boom on the yellow race, China. The stock market is in free fall.

The President, and his people, have dumped into the street thousands of useless federal employees. These included some who ran the federal parts of banking, travel and research. More stock market declines.

Trump has been patient with his critics. They wrongly have tied his actions on tariffs and dumping federal employees to the diving stock market. They are wrong because the tariffs only affect China. It pays the tariffs and our taxes go down stimulating our economy. He pointed out the cause of the stock crisis in the Chair of the Federal Reserve, this Powell guy. It is hard to fire him because of protection laws but eventually he will be gone and the stock market will go up like a rocket.
