Did you read the OP? Things to be gained would be bringing peace to the Middle East, bringing Democracy to the Middle East, bringing humanitarian aid to the Middle East. What do you have against the muslims that you don't want them to have peace?

In my prayers, the LORD has laid upon my heart the great opportunity to share the Gospel Message with these people. Imagine how grateful they will be to see peace in their land for the first time! To be introduced to the Christian moral system, the only one that has ever stabilized a region and brought economic and medical and educational advances to an otherwise barbarian place. Imagine how they will feel when they learn that Christ is the Bringer of this Peace! If that means a little skirmish must precede it, it will be nothing compared to the souls who could be Saved! Without our intervention, most of these souls will be lost anyway. How could you stand by and watch that happen?

Finally, an atheist has arrived. Ok ok my bad the current russian forces most likely have little to no combat experience aside from the extremely short Georgian war. The Russians were unequipped for a major war back when the Chechnian war began. That's why the Chechnians kicked their butts, they werent combat ready in the second war either but the Russians won. Even if the Russians don't get involved someone else might. The Russians seem to have a fairly good navy/airforce and they have excellent tanks. China and at least 10 other countries receive military tech from Russia. China also receives energy/fuel(oil, coal etc.) and more machinery from Russia. Does that make china and russia really good friends? No, but china getting involved is something to consider.
What if China gets involved economically and cripples the US. Although other countries seem like a big deal the US is always the main instigator of towel head conflicts. Who teaches rebels how to make IEDs? Who give them weapons? The US of course. But thats all nothing compared to what their planning next. They might try to assassinate Ron Jeremy before he can run for president in 2016!!!

Friend, it looks like the effect of communicating with Christians has begun to take effect. You seem to be admitting that everything you have said about the Russian fyrd is made up lies.

The Russians haven't faced a real army since 1945. Their tanks are second rate. They have always been second rate. They just build a lot of them because they have plenty of Russians to put in them and when we blow them up, no great loss- there's plenty more Russians and plenty more tanks.

The closest the Russians have come to a real war in the last 65 years is shooting at the Chinamen over where the boundry of Siberia is. They never beat the Chinamen when shooting breaks out there, BTW.

After we invade the Middle East and wipe out the terrorist scum that live there, we will likely go on and blow up Russia too. They are an affront unto the Lord by their very existance.

I believe that is God's will.

Seriously though, regardless of foreign countries attempting to stop us or not the 4th reich has absolutely no right to enter Syria. The citizens of the us should prompt the government to ban selling equipment to paramilitary organizations. Btw the Syrian rebels most likely gassed civilians and blamed the Syrian government for it. I've never heard of Syrian soldiers packing sirene gas before. Weren't Syrians soldiers harmed in the gas attacks aswell? I don't think the Syrian government would try to harm their own troops. You're talking about the "4th reich". Syria fits that description pretty well, considering they are gassing their own people. America have a God-given right to correct misbehavior and stop evil worldwide diligently.

Listen up empty head. No-one is suggesting an invasion. Tactical strikes are what have been suggested. This is a good idea because we can all sit at home and watch Syria being turned into the world's biggest glass factory, and be safe while we do it.

Collateral damage is always acceptable in a war.

You're right, we should just turn a blind eye to those who attacked their own citizens with chemical weapons, killing over 1500 of them (in 13 separate attacks documented since January 2013, not just August 21st), including over 460 children.

You're correct, we have no right to attack them.

We have an obligation to, in the form of that very treaty against the use of chemical weapons. It was a promise to ALL of humanity, made by ALL of us (except North Korea and a few others) that we ALL would not permit this to happen.

If you're OK with governments gassing their own people, you make me sick.

USA and its president are egocentric and they think that they can do whatever they want with the world, you think you can decide over million or thousands of millions of lives, that's gross and makes me want to puke.
