The US is predated by the Bible. You will not find specific mention of the US in the Bible as a result.Originally posted by ChileanGirl94 View PostOk, show me where in the "holy" Bible you found that and maybe I'll believe you, because USA is never mentioned in the book
However, God's favor for His chosen people is always evident, throughout the Bible and throughout man's history on Earth- over 6,000 years.
He gave unto us this continent as our home. We slew and destroyed those former, godless inhabitants that we did not make move to Oklahoma. We left the frozen north to the heathen Canadians and the deserts to the south to the Mexicans. We did not want those areas. We did this work in a very short time, with God's help. By contrast, the godless English have had England for 1500 years and Ireland for a thousand and they still haven't successfully killed off the Irish, Welsh and Scots.
He gave us command of the world, except for some wretched areas where the Devil holds sway (North Korea, Haiti, France, etc).
He has made our host strong, that they may smite our enemies.
He has taught us how to get the oil from the ground and how to find it and how to make sure friendly chiefs are in charge where the oil is.
He has made our dollar strong and He has made the rest of the world thirsty for dollars.
He has given us indoor plumbing and air conditioning. He has given us Ozarka water and the Grand Canyon.
Who can doubt His love for us?

I don't mean to have some kind of one sided debate here with you (this is not a forum for debate), where you advertise your stupidity and genetic inferiority, but note that I said "a real army".
Russia spent many years being beat up by a band of lunatic Afghan muslims wearing rags who don't even speak English. The US destroyed them with godly virtue in a few weeks. Would you call that a real army?
Russia has spent many years at the mercy of a bunch of pot smoking muslim terrorists in Chechnia. Perhaps that was the real army.
I know you had a war with the Georgian smugglers, but is that what you are calling a real army?
Satan has clouded your thinking, friend. I believe you are Hell bound if you don't open your eyes. Come over to Jesus. It's that or Hell. Don't go there; it's too hot.

Re: Why the U.S. should invade Syria.
I think there is some misunderstanding about chemical weapons, so perhaps we'd better step back for a moment and think this through clearly before rushing off to Obama's war.
First off, let me say that I am 100% opposed to Assad using chemical weapons on civilians. Something like 1300 people are said to have died. That is an outrage.
But let's put that in prospective: the population of Syria is about 21 million, so 1300 is only 0.006% of the total. That's like removing a grain of sand from the beach.
In other words, Assad is totally incompetent. My company repeatedly told his government that in order to build the pipeline from Iraq to the Mediterranean, we need to move nearly a million people off their land. We gave him maps and everything to show where the pipeline would be. When we sold him the sarin gas, we were very clear about where it was to be used. But his lame response so far has been to gas just 1300 Jihadis in the suburbs of Damascus! At that rate we ain't gonna get that pipeline built for another century. I'm mean what's up with Assad, has he got sh*t for brains? No wonder even Obama wants to take out that son-of-a-beech with Predator drones.!
Well, like that old saying says, if you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself. Enough of outsourcing these village-removal jobs to tin pot dictators like Assad - the USA needs to go into Syria and clear the path for the pipeline ASAP! Obama's wimpy plan to bomb a few elementary schools - although commendable - is just theatrics to make himself look like a "tough" president. In order to promote shareholder value in my company's oil pipeline subsidiary, we are way past "limited war" talk - it's time for real action!
I propose we hit Syria hard along the planned pipeline route with some nerve gas of our own. A little bit of smallpox in the water supply couldn't hurt either. This is really the most humane way to fight a war. While conventional bombs and missiles kill people and destroy infrastructure, nerve gas and bioweapons eliminate people while leaving bridges, roads and buildings intact. Thus, private property is protected!
Surely our nation's founding fathers like Ronald Reagan would agree that chemical and bioweapons are the most civilized way to gain the trust and cooperation of local populations. Therein lies the path to corporate profits, enhanced shareholder value, and prosperity for all...or at least for the survivors.
Sounds like a win-win strategy to me!

I believe Osama Obama has a hidden agenda here. I have just read that Christians are being forcibly converted to mudslimes.

I say we should just bomb the whole country and not care who gets hurt.

National socialism is godless. Their "belief" is in the biomedical path to a perfected master race, and that Jews are a significant threat to the immediate and long-term health of the race. Some interesting points raised, I'll grant that (btw none of the sidetrack history lessons were news to me [in fact, I could raise a lot more, such as that the behaviour he's decrying predates the foundation of the CIA {where he claims it all starts} by more than a century]) but calling Obama a "chicken-hawk Neo-con"?Originally posted by Slaneesh View Post
Then later in the video, references to a "conspiracy" by the "main-stream media" (along with faked BBC and WSJ pages) just cement the vidmaker's place firmly in the wingnut section.

You seem to be admitting that everything you have said about the Russian fyrd is made up lies.
The Russians haven't faced a real army since 1945. Their tanks are second rate. They have always been second rate. They just build a lot of them because they have plenty of Russians to put in them and when we blow them up, no great loss- there's plenty more Russians and plenty more tanks.
The closest the Russians have come to a real war in the last 65 years is shooting at the Chinamen over where the boundry of Siberia is. They never beat the Chinamen when shooting breaks out there, BTW.
After we invade the Middle East and wipe out the terrorist scum that live there, we will likely go on and blow up Russia too. They are an affront unto the Lord by their very existance.
I believe that is God's will.

Second of all I've had it with all you limp wristed liberals crying about "compassion". They used chemical weapons on their own people and dangerous weapons like that should only be in the hands of True Christians (TM) who can use it responsibly.
I shudder at the thought that our Socialist in Chief has access to these weapons.

So what? Jesus wants us to send as many islamofascists to hell as possible. Personally, I'd like to see the US of A turn the entire middle east into a sheet of glass.Originally posted by Slaneesh View PostBombing Syria is a horrible idea. Thousands of civilians will or might die and if things go wrong the US might have to invade. Bombing solves absolutely nothing! Bombing Syria would be like shooting someone in both of their legs and then leaving them to die.
p
Don't forget what God did to them before. Under God's direction, Moses' army defeated the Midianites. They killed all the adult males, but took the women and children captive. When Moses learns that they left some live, he angrily says: "Have you saved all the women alive? Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." So they went back and did as Moses (and presumably God) instructed, killing everyone except for the virgins. In this way they got 32,000 virgins --captive girl children virgins! ---- Numbers 31:1-54

Why would they hit their own supporters? All of the attacks have been in rebel-held teroitory.Originally posted by Slaneesh View Post...Btw the Syrian rebels most likely gassed civilians and blamed the Syrian government for it...
It's sarin, which isn't really something you can make in your garage (which is where the rebels are fighting out of). You need a laboratory. Think the Syrian government (who are known to possess sarin stockpiles) might have a laboratory or two?...I've never heard of Syrian soldiers packing sirene gas before...
I've seen NO evidence of government personnel suffering from these attacks. If you have any, please post it....Weren't Syrians soldiers harmed in the gas attacks aswell?...
Are you Shi'a?...It sounds like Syria has a al quida bastard infestation.
