Ted Cruz has democrats right where he wants them, and soon they will be begging him to make a deal. In the same master stroke he is weeding out all the fake republicans leaving us with the purest party in history!

It's going to be tough if we have to choose between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. I'm going to start praying on this right away!

The only way the shutdown has affected my family and I is by teaching us that at least 800,000 civil servants are superfluous. Now that we have the upper hand I would ask our chosen representatives in Congress to double down on keeping the shutdown going. I'm sure we can easily go to 2,000,000 of Obama's leeches out of work without it affecting the nation in any way.

You are right, Brother Godfly, Ted Cruz is doing some brilliant political work just now. I'm sure Donald is watching too. Both of them may be thinking of running as a team.

You are so right, Brother Johny. Did you know that the combined IQs of Ted and Donald are almost as high as Albert Einstein's (180)? And as we all know, Einstein was appointed Treasury Secretary by Ronald Reagan and brilliantly guided the US economy until 2008.

I just don't understand all this concern about a possible stock market crash and new Great Depression. During the 1929 stock market crash and depression, my grandfather did just fine. He told me it was the happiest time in his life! Hey, they didn't call it the Great Depression for nothing!

The only thing that spoiled the paradise that was America in the 1930s was the Jew-bastard Roosevelt and his New Deal based on global warming and gay marriage. Roosevelt's illegitimate Kenyan son, Obama, has carried on the family's socialist and Islamic traditions, which is why we are suffering today.

Fortunately there is no doubt in my mind that under the careful guidance of Republican economists like Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and Sarah Palin, we can all look forward to the happy times just like my grand parents enjoyed.
