  • What Did that NJ Mayor Expect When He Didn't Endorse Gov Christie, a Bear Hug?

It just burns me up when one of my colleague Mayors has a whinning fit. That Mayor in NJ at the end of the George Washington Bridge had a chance to endorse Gov. Chris Christie. But, he refused.

Christie's people did what any political operation does, took revenge. They began a "traffic study" next to the Mayor's town that closed traffic down in one lane and cars stacked up for hours. What is unreasonable or unusual about that?

Now the traffic is flowing just fine. Forget about it!

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

This is just the kind of thing that the liberal media will use to paint Republicans as psychotic maniacs who don't care about anything but power, money and revenge.

No doubt we will hear a lot whining about exasperated commuters and delayed emergency response, but all of that is a small trifle compared to a GODly Republican possibly not getting precisely what he wanted in the exact moment he demanded it. What about OUR rights, liberal media? What about our rights?

      Exactly, Brother Bob4.

What about Republican Governor Christie's rights? He has the right to manage his State of New Jersey. He has the right to hold Democrat Mayors accountable for their own deeds.

This one did not endorse Christie. Gov. Christie let him have it with a massive traffic jam for several hours. Now, the Mayor seems to think Christie is OK.

I can assure you, this Mayor will endorse Christie next time.

I get so sick of people whining. First they demand that Big Government build them a bridge, then they demand access roads be kept open and not used for political purposes. Hey, if you want Big Government, you've got to live with the consequences.

As a Republican, I believe in individual responsibility. Whenever I need to cross a river, I just fly my private helicopter. If I can do it, anybody can.

But if you're scared of flying, then turn to The Lord for help.

Jesus endorsing Governor Christie's bridge closure

Of course, the liberal media will continue to persecute Republicans. We need to counteract that and get our message out to voters. Recently, my company produced some promotional buttons which we handed out to school children.

        Information (not propaganda) for kids.

We need to demand that liberal dirty tricks (like voter registration drives) stop right now! Only through honest diligent effort like bridge closures, gerrymandering and defunding public schools in Democrat congressional districts can we bring back integrity to government.

Libs just want to POINT FINGERS at people they don't like. The problem is not Gov. Christy. The problem is STATE ROADS. People expect the government to do everything for them, but it has been shown over and over again that PRIVATE ENTREPRENEURS are much more efficient at everything. New Jersey should take a hint from Texas, where the only new roads being built are TOLL ROADS. They're even considering turning some existing roads into toll roads. LET THE MARKET DECIDE. I have a feeling that the INVISIBLE HAND of the market may a rather familiar to us Christians. I"M TALKING ABOUT GOD"S HAND.

WAKE UP SHEEPLE! GOV. CHRISTIE IS NOT THE PROBLEM, IT"S SOCIALIST ROADS!
LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION (Psalm 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5, Job 31:15, Isaiah 49:5)

NO FOOD FOR THOSE WHO DON"T WORK (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12)
PRACTICING HOMOS AND HOMO-ENABLERS ARE LIVING IN SIN (Romans 1:26-28, 32)

As far as I've heard only 1 person possibly died from this, so why all the liberal outrage? To me it seems all an attempt to direct attention away from the Benghazi attack where 4 people died!

This whole thing is a tempest in a teapot. Big Government builds a bridge and suddenly everyone thinks they are entitled to it. Oh, it's a "public bridge" they say - but the "public" can't all use it at the same time anyway (or isn't that obvious to the Big Government crowd of whiners). Of course you have to do traffic studies to figure out how many lanes you need during the rush hour.

If any of them were paying attention to the FREE MARKET, there are plenty of options for crossing a river - jogging, bicycles, canoes, kayaks, boats, ferries, helicopters, and lastly camels for the mooselimb loving Democrats.

Now you may remember that I once referred to Chris Christy as 2 (or 6) Mitt Romneys in the same pair of (tent sized) pants. I would like to assure members of the Christy administration that this was intended as a complement. I simply ment that Govenor Christy is 2 (or 6) times the man that Mitt Romney is. I was in no way referring to the Govenors grotesque weight, which I for one barely even noticed until someone pointed it out to me. The Govenor, America's Govenor if you will, should not feel slighted in any way by my poorly chosen words and so should have no reason to seek retribution.

All very true, Brother W. I'd also like to add that the George Washington Bridge crosses over into Harlem, a Negro neighborhood. Why would anyone even want to go there? And as for traffic in the other direction, why would folks in New Jersey want to allow the Negroes to come over the bridge into their Godly neighborhoods?

Back in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina happened, gangs of marauding Negroes tried to cross a bridge to Gretna, Mississippi, where no doubt they would have looted the Wal-Marts and raped white women. Fortunately, the diligent Gretna Sheriff's Department greeted the aspiring looter-rapists with shotguns, forcing them back into their flooded homes.

You'd think that folks in New Jersey would heed the lessons of Katrina and be grateful to Governor Christie for trying to keep the darkies over there in Harlem where they belong. But no, they just keep whining about it. Sheesh! As the old saying goes, "Let no good deed go unpunished."

Thank you, Brother Follower. These numbers tell the truth. Four times more people died in Benghazi than in N. J. Where is the liberal 24 hours news cycle on Benghazi?

And, you have to be suspicious of the driver killed in the traffic stranglehold. When traffic is stopped, backed up, like it was when Christie took revenge, cars are not dangerous. If fact, it is safer on the Interstates whenever traffic is stopped. So, if there was a lady killed that day, and I have my doubts about that, it had to be due to something other than the backed up traffic.

That New Jersey mayor didn't get a bear hug, he got a SHE-BEAR HUG!

                      2 Kings 2:23-24

23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
