Why do Christians love Ayn Rand?

I mean, "friendship, solidarity and fair play"? Sports are supposed to be about the kind of ruthless competition where you stomp the weak and spit on them! "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't trying' hard enough". Ayn Rand's characters in Atlas Shrugged have some great statements on this attitude.

I will never understand why you neocons see Ayn Rand as a heroine...she was not only an atheist, but also anti-Christian (and pro-abortion to boot).

So I guess Churchianity is closer to atheism than it is to true Christianity...

Could you avoid quoting a book which should've been in the Apocrypha...God's Word is holy, and no books whose authors are in hell should be allowed in it!

You can't prove she didn't repent on her death-bed. (I've heard on good authority that she repented of her drug use and theft-via-social-security-cheque.)

Anyway, there is a category known as "virtuous pagans", those who furthered the goals of Christ without accepting Him. Plato is the biggest one, he's the one that proved that The Golden Ones (the 1%) can use "noble lies", and so on. Plato's Republic has all sorts of great ideas for how the world should be run, you can't prove he didn't repent on his deathbed also.

And if they are in hell, the hell of virtuous pagans merely smoulders, rather than burns like what you're headed towards. REPENT!

As for your judgments, they fall way too short for Solomon's and ignore even GOD's.

May I remind you that Solomon was graced by GOD himself and his errors were mostly induced by the heathen harlots he chose to bed?

It's a bit like Adam and Eve all over again (how tiring that must be to GOD).

But as for hell? He wasn't even punished in this life, let's review it.

1 Kings 11:30-34

Do you think GOD (who so often reminds us of hell punishment) would leave that out?

He didn't even half-scald Solomon (compare to Saul to whom he rodded beyond an inch of his life).

Solomon is safely in heaven and you have ZERO chances of bumping into him when you're in hell being punished for your offensive ways.
