  • Only Republicans Understand the Economy

So the stupid DEMONcrats are trying to pretend like they understand how the economy works! HA! The stupid tax-and-spend DEMONcrats want to take your tax dollars and WASTE them on hare-brained communist schemes like health care, infrastructure, and "alternative" energy research. And they want to fund this by increasing taxes when the economy is hitting a rough patch (a rough patch that has absolutely nothing to do with Republicans, but is probably just because people are scared of the Democratic congress).

No wonder poll after poll over the past 40 years show that Americans trust Godly Republicans with the purse strings of government. And the Republican record of success with the economy is amazing!

The American economy was going along great under Republican leadership (Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover) in the 1920s until Franklin Roosevelt came along and started the Great Depression. The economy finally recovered with the election of Republican Dwight Eisenhower in the 1950s.

Ronald Reagan put America back on the right track in the 1980s after the mess created by Jimmy Carter. And George W. Bush again rescued America from oblivion and failure of the shameful, disasterous, miserable Clinton years.

Now uppity, smart-mouthed Barack Osama is pretending he knows more about the economy than John McCain! If you think things are bad now, just imagine how much worse they would be under Gore, Kerry, or Obama!!!

I don't understand. Do people think things are bad now? Who are these people? They certainly don't sound like anyone I know.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Any economic problems the country may or may not be experiencing at the moment (and I concur with Brother Temperance here; I don't know any poor people), can be directly attributed to the Clintons. In the eight nightmarish years that he soiled the Oval Office, he did such damage to America that virtually any problem we currently have (or ever will have) can be laid at his cloven hooves.
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Don't forget the worst socialist program of all -- social security:

        Oh, and by the way:

THERE IS NO RECESSION! AMERICA IS A NATION OF WHINERS WHO NEED TO SEE A PSYCHOLOGIST!

In an interview with the Washington Times, McCain's economic advisor, who is also vice chairman of UBS, the giant Swiss bank gives the whiners some straight talk:

"You've heard of mental depression; this is a mental recession,"..."We may have a recession; we haven't had one yet."

"We have sort of become a nation of whiners," he said. "You just hear this constant whining, complaining about a loss of competitiveness, America in decline..."

McCain points out that gas prices are also just a psychological problem:

"I’m very concerned about it, Neil. And obviously the way it’s been going up is just terrible. But I think psychologically — and a lot of our problems today, as you know, are psychological — the confidence, trust, the uncertainty about our economic future, ability to keep our own home. This might give them a little psychological boost. Let’s have some straight talk, it’s not a huge amount of money."

I repeat: it's psychological! Go to a shrink you whiners!

Re: Only Republicans Understand the Economy

America's economy is ABSOLUTELY FINE!! I'm sick and tired of hearing bellyaching and nattering nabobs of negativism undermining the SOLID FOOTING that the Republican Party has worked so hard to implement over the past eight years. If anyone out there is struggling, it's your own fault. Here's a neat and simple prescription to turn around all your economic ills:

          1. Whistle a happy tune.
          2. Donate $2300 to the John McCain for President campaign.
          3. Donate a hefty amount to "Citizens United for Lower Taxes," a 527 group that is dedicated to exposing the TRUTH about the shady past of one Barack Hussein Osama, his demonic whore of a wife, and his spawn-from-the-bowels-of-Hell "children."
          4. Vote Republican.

It's just that simple. Leave the complicated machinery of the economy to the folks that really understand how the economy works-- like John McCain, Cindy McCain, George W. Bush, Dr. Phil Gramm, Dick Cheney, Mitt Romney, and ME.
